Kamara Kalidonias Hotels

"The hotel had everything you need and was recently constructed so in great shape. In all my travels around the world, I have not met a more friendly group of staff. They literally did everything to make our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying here."

"Very clean accommodation and very friendly and helpful staff."

"The pool was excellent. Bar & restaurant on site. Great location with parking."

"We absolutely loved staying here. Views, staff, food, everything was great"

"Staff were amazing. Beautiful pool area and great breakfast buffet. Location was within walking distance to shopping and restaurants."

"The food was school dinner in a huge hall - badly let’s the hotel down Swarms of flies around the pool - impossible to sit by the pool in the pm"

"Great location steps from the beach, restaurants and shops, yet a quiet, clean and well kept property. Staff was friendly and helpful."

"SO friendly. Helped with finding us drivers, Laundry dining and just overall helping us explore the area. We will stay here again!"

"One of the best family and regional small hotel we have visited in 20 years in Crete. They really are very small hotel, familial style but they do their best to provide high level services: multiple pool, breakfast, sun towels. Amazing quality for price. I rarely write reviews but their work needs to be recognized. The only con of this hotel, despite what is written on Hotels.com, it's very remote in the moutain and far from Paleochora, so I recommend if you need to rest 2-3 days in a super...

"Good location for restaurants and close to a small beach, also enjoyed the spa."

"The service was very attentive, convenient locations , delicious breakfast and very comfortable bed and room ."

"Really enjoyed this hotel, staff were amazing Restaurant was very good"

"Very nice, clean, friendly staff, good breakfast."

"Highly recommend staying at Alcanea. Eva, our host, was incredibly helpful and friendly. The staff/service was great. And the complimentary breakfast offered lots of local options and all were delicious. Best part of this stay was the view and location. The view of the port was awesome with the water, local bars/shops, and mountains in the distance. And there were dozens of restaurants and shops offering all we might need/want. This hotel made Chania feel like home."

"House keeping everyday."

"Fantastic Hotel and great location."

"The suite was very clean, incredibly comfortable bed and good shower pressure. Easy and cheap parking under building. Lots of cafes and eateries near by."

"Beautiful hotel in a prime location with an excellent view."

"Rooms were spacious, clean and had beautiful views of Chania! The breakfast buffet was a real highlight with the range of food and the staff were so helpful. Great facilities such as onsite car rental and gym. Great free shuttle which helped us a lot. At times there was a lot of noise coming from the upstairs restaurant which wouldn’t stop until 12am. Rooms could’ve been soundproofed."

"Highly recommend staying in this lovely, charming old building which has clearly been lovingly maintained, and definitely make your way up to the rooftop seating area for a break from the street crowds."
