"Rooms were clean. Staff were nice- but super slow service during the day at the beach bar restaurant. The breakfast was good! Lots of variety of foods and they had a gluten free designated toaster and bread which was amazing for us. Amazing gluten free desserts and good juice variety! Grounds were well kept ! Bridge connecting two parts of the property had a nice view as well. We would recommend this resort."

"We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room and grounds were immaculate and the staff in all areas could not have been more friendly and helpful. We loved the pool area and the beach. The breakfast was wonderful, lots of choice and nothing was ever empty."

"Very Clean room, fridge not working so it was replaced with new within an hour excellent service ! Loverly clean private pool, extensive buffet breakfast . Friendly staff, right on beach. Tip : walk along the beach to dine as the main strip is only good for shopping."

"It was an amazing experience at the resort. The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the beautiful pool area and beach. A few small improvements would make the experience even more consistent with a five-star hotel: adding extra towel or robe hooks in the shower area, installing a hygienic shower in the bathroom, and providing a capsule coffee machine in the room. The location is also very convenient—just a short taxi or bus ride from Platania, with many restaurants and shops. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!"

"The one bed suite was very spacious and comfortable. Plenty of sun loungers and tables outside including own chairs directly outside room. Really friendly and welcoming staff. Short walk via hill into town. Ideal place for exploring hiking trails and Platanias. No shop or restaurant on site but plenty in local area so not an issue. Pool a decent size and well maintained. Great view."

"Great location a short distance to Chania. Many great socialization areas outside where the wonderful scenery and birds could be enjoyed. The outdoor kitchen, seating area, and pool were great for this group of 7 which included three generations of family and friends from four different countries. The bedrooms were equipped with comfortable beds, lots of closet space, and air conditioners. It has three bathrooms which two included showers and one had a very large jacuzzi tub! The kitchen was large with in kitchen seating and well equipped with a dishwasher. The house had a washing machine and dishwasher which are always greatly appreciated. It was a great central location that we could do day trips from (Botanical garden, Chania old harbour, multiple options for wine and olive oil tasting, Imbros Gorge, Balos Lagoon) and then have a relaxing evening or morning watching sunrises and sunsets. This was truly a memorable vacation home!"

"Booked 1 room with another family with 9 of us at the property. We had also rented cars and drove to the hotel. Great access for free parking. The room was split over 2 levels that the boys enjoyed. The room was very clean. The breakfast selection was significant to choose from and the Italian restaurant was really great. The hotel gave direct access to the beach and great spot for sunset pictures!"

"Caldera Crete paradise was absolutely fabulous, very clean and staff were helpful and very friendly,the food was very good every evening was a different theme and so much to choose from every day. We had a fantastic time but we weren't ready to leave the place so we will return hopefully very soon."
