Beautiful 2 bedroom Duplex between Hilo and Puna

The Ho'okele Duplex is a wonderful base within an hour of all the main attractions on the East Side of the Big Islands; Volcano National Park, the Hot Ponds along the Red Road, the charming towns of Hilo and Puna/ Pahoa, smoking lave tubes, and some of the newest beaches in the world. A great spot for the holidays. A high standard of cleanliness and Covid precautions.
This 2 bedroom, one full bath is the lower floor of a duplex home with Tropical decor with an efficient kitchenette with full refrigerator, living room space, and outdoor dining space and BBQ. On a 3-acre permaculture and aquaponics farm with organic fruit, veggies, and fish. Handicap accessible with shower and toilet accessory equipment.
Located in Orchidland, between Hilo and Puna/ Pahoa, 2 blocks from the highway on a paved road, less than 30 minutes from the Hilo International Airport. Gated estate with secure parking and security lights. Boogie boards, snorkel gear, and beach towels are provided. Less than 30 minutes to Volcano National Park, where the lava is currently flowing and erupting! An amazing experience to see the active lava in the park and the Mars-like environment of Fishure 8, where the lava erupted two years ago. One of the most unique experiences in the world!

Fly into Hilo airport, about 20 minutes from the airport. Or a two hour drive from the Kona Airport on the West side of the island.

10 minutes to Historic Pahoa town

Boogie boards and snorkel gear are available.
We use catchment rainwater. This water is filtered and good for showering and washing. Drinking-Water is provided.
