But what truly set this experience apart was the incredible staff, especially Demos. From start to finish, Demos went above and beyond in every way imaginable—friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. He continuously anticipated our needs and made sure our stay was perfect. His dedication and warmth made us feel like we were staying with family rather than at a hotel. We also had amazing interactions with Nadia from the breakfast team, who was kind and welcoming, and Maximus at the front desk, who was always helpful and professional. If you want a hotel where you feel truly cared for, in a pristine and convenient location, Chania Hotel is it—and Demos makes it unforgettable!"

"The hotel was lovely. The staff were friendly and suoer helpful. Had to change our room after the 1st as there was a strange smell but the hotel staff were super helpful in the change whilst we enjoyed the pool. The food was amazing hats off to the chef and his staff and the wait staff. The cleaning lady was super sweet and left our room spotless everyday. The Spa and gym facilites were great and the treatments were reasonably priced. All in all a great saty only spoilt on the last night when some mad drunk women spent the best part of 30 mins screaming and shouting thru the corridor at 2am. Was too tired and relaxed from my massage earlier on in the day to complain. But would highly recommend this place if your looking for somewhere to relax and unwind. Would defo come back but for longer next time maybe 10 days."

"We had such a lovely stay at Blue Elephant in Almyrida! The location is peaceful and quiet, about 45–50 minutes from Chania (CHQ) airport, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The absolute highlight was the staff – they were genuinely some of the friendliest and most helpful we’ve ever met. Communication before, during, and even after our stay was excellent, and they always made us feel so welcome. The hotel itself is very clean and calm, best suited for couples or adults. My partner loved relaxing by the pool, while I made use of the small gym (don’t expect heavy weights, but it’s great for a hotel gym). Breakfast was really good, with enough variety even for us as vegetarians/vegans. The only small thing that could be improved would be having a few more veggie/vegan options on the lunch menu, but with so many restaurants in town, it wasn’t a problem. They don’t do dinner, but again, the local options were fantastic. Overall, it’s perfect for a 5–6 day relaxing holiday. We will definitely be coming back in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful break in Crete."

The food options are great, and as a vegan I had a number of options every meal which is different to usual holiday locations. The new and old buildings mean there's plenty of space for everyone and you can always find a sunbed"
