"Three small beefs: 1) The pumps for shampoo, shower gel, etc, are not reachable if you’re having a bath. Stupid oversight that should be fixed. 2) Our bathroom was smelly when we checked in but the cleaners are not equipped with air freshener of any sort— which is weird. We ended up spraying Downy anti-wrinkle spray for clothes around the bathroom and that worked OK but who doesn’t have air freshener?? 3) You can’t really adjust the temperature much— only by 2 degrees each way which isn’t much. The fridge is also not very cold— slightly cooler than room temperature."

"If you are not familiar with the Citybox hotel chain, like I wasn't, you will be surprised by their extremely lean structure and staff. Having said that, I don't think their obsession with efficiency caused any problems with our stay. Checking in and out is extremely fast and easy, the communal kitchen is convenient and clean, the few staff members we came across were very friendly and helpful, and the premises were brand new. Rooms were initially clean and functional (although not cleaned again for any of the other 5 nights we spent there). The lack of a TV in our room wasn't particularly a big deal, but including separate hygiene products for hair and body, as well as a hair conditioner, would have been great. The particular location was not the best for visiting the city, but there were a good number of restaurants and shops around."
