The lodge was comfortable and bright and had a fantastic view of Bassenthwaite Lake. It was clean and beds very comfy.

We loved our salty ate the lodge. The grounds are tidy and as described being next to the lake and very peaceful. The birds that visit and feed from the deck are beautiful and great to watch. Lodge is warm and cosy and has everything needed for a great stay. Ali was great to deal with and very good with responding if we have any questions. Thank you for such a lovely time in the Lake District for our first time there!

This home is right on the lake, perfect for a quiet stay in a beautiful location, with a gorgeous view of the lake. Close to many Lake District attractions. The host was very responsive before and during our stay, provided many helpful recommendations for things to do in the area and nearby necessities. The check in process was very smooth and easy. The house is well equipped with necessary items to make your stay comfortable. Overall great, we had a lovely Lake District vacation!

Lovely Homely Lodge

Such a lovely homely lodge with a beautiful setting. Perfect base for the North Lakes. The lodge was very cosy and had everything we needed. We loved the whirlpool bath, a lovely surprise. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely lakeside lodge

A fantastic week in the ideal place- well-equipped, homely and in a superb position. The sun shone daily and we enjoyed using the lodge as the perfect base for walks and water activities. Thank you!

Amazing views with cosy vibes

The place had an unforgettable view from the living area and was well-equipped. There are plenty of guides about the local area which is helpful to plan your days. The host was very responsive, warm, and willing to adjust to our schedules. We would be glad to visit again.

A lovely long weekend with kids

Great location, well stocked kitchen. Nearby kid friendly activities like the Lake District Wildlife Park. We would definitely come back for longer. The walls are a bit thin but (I have never stayed in a lodge before so this is likely very normal). It didn't bother the kids at all at night and they slept like logs.

Lovely lodge

Fantastic location, spending time on the lake with my daughter was so much fun. Lodge is very well designed and cozy! Loved the view and a bonus of puzzles booked and maps on arrival. We will be staying again, great communication with Ali on arriving to the lodge!

Idyllic

Beautiful location over looking the lake, cosy and comfy on autumn days. Plenty of dog walks from the property or within a short drive. Scenic walks to local pubs. Would definitely recommend and visit again

Loved our Christmas in the lodge

Thanks so much, we had a great stay. Lodge was nice and warm and had everything we needed. Really loved the Christmas tree and decorations. View and location was amazing. Quite a different Christmas from our usual hot Australian xmas.

Perfect stay

We have had a fantastic stay in this gorgeous lodge. The property was well equipped with amazing views. We spent our mornings swimming and kayaking in the lake,and our afternoons exploring the local area. Cannot recommend this property highly enough.

Great stay over xmas

We loved the lodge. It felt very homely. The park is right at the lake shore. The kitchen was equipped very well. Beds were comfortable and shower powerful. A bonus was the TV with netflix and other apps and good internet connection. We would be back when the weather is warmer.
