Daisy Cottage - a cottage that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

The ground floor is all open plan and offers a wonderful space for holidays. The lounge area has a large three seater sofa and an easy chair, TV, DVD, and CD player. There is also a dining table and four chairs.

The kitchen is very well equipped and has electric oven & hob, dishwasher, fridge with ice box, microwave etc. There is plenty of worktop space and is well lit.

There are two very pretty bedrooms with beamed ceilings. The double bedroom has oak furniture with excellent quality linens and luxury towels. Next to the double room is a brand new bathroom with bath (with shower over) wash hand basin and WC. The second bedroom has two single beds. Off this room there is an en-suite shower room with large shower, wash hand basin and WC.

Daisy Cottage is one of our longest letting cottages and is ideally situated just off the town centre streets, full of interest and well worth a visit, very much a home from home.

To the front there is a block paved area with private parking for one car and an area to sit out where there is a bench and lovely potted plants.

There is a separate utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, shoe racks and plenty hooks for coats. Bikes can be stored in this room.

Our short stay in Keswick

Our stay in Keswick was excellent with regards to the accommodation and it being so central to the town centre. Amazing shops, eating and drinking establishments! Would strongly recommend this place to visit.

Wonderful stay at Daisy Cottage

We appreciated Daisy Cottage had been sympathetically modernised and had everything we needed to make our stay relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds and linen were super comfy and we were thankful of the added bonus of parking, although small, it was adequate for our estate car after some manoeuvring. The cottage is perfectly located to potter around the town.

Daisy Cottage is a lovely cottage in an excellent location. The cottage was spotless and the decor is excellent. All in all a brilliant holiday cottage. The only thing missing was a microwave oven but we were ok without one.

A lovely week in Daisy Cottage

What a lovely property. We loved all the Herdy products and the Daisy theme. Loved the split staircase - we went with our adult son and his partner so it was great for us all to have the extra privacy of our own little space. The beds were really comfortable and the quality of the fixtures and fittings was superb. We will definitely be returning!

We have been coming to Keswick for 25 years. We have stayed in Daisy Cottage a number of times as it is in a great location (and it was the first cottage we stayed in.) There were one or two problems during the week, but these were dealt with quickly and efficiently by the Keswick Cottages team. A great place to stay.

A lovely week in Daisy Cottage

Really great location for exploring Keswick and walking straight from the door up the fells. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed ,home from home. Lovely bed linen and very comfy beds ! The car parking is extremely tight and we wouldn't have managed to fit our smallish car alongside another if next cottage was occupied. Fortunately we had the space to ourselves until the last day . A definite cottage to return to thank you .

Absolutely wonderful place. Great location and very easy to find thanks to the directions provided by the hosts. Easy access and departure. Off road parking space directly outside the cottage. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are very good and well proportioned. Utility/drying room (containing washing machine/dryer/iron) was a godsend. Fully stocked kitchen, TV, internet. Hairdryer for the ladies Extremely clean and tidy. Will definitely be returning

Fantastic property in fab location

We have enjoyed a wonderful stay in Daisy Cottage. We return regularly and this year enjoyed the benefits of a well thought out renovation downstairs. The new door linking the outhouse with the living area is a boom and helps keeping outdoor gear away from the rest of the property. Especially on rainy days. Before you had to go outside to access it. The cottage is warm and comfortable. Sitting for four is a bit tight and for visitors like us who eat in a lot a bit more cooking equipment would be handy. The new appliances are excellent. The on site parking is a boom as well as parking in Keswick can be a nightmare. Overall a fabulous property in a fabulous location. We will be returning next year.

Daisy Cottage - a wonderful place to stay

We really enjoyed our time at Daisy Cottage. It was spotlessly presented and the open-plan style of the downstairs suited us perfectly, with everything close to hand. Great care has been taken over the quality of furnishings and bedding. The separate utility room next door was very useful for when we came back from walking, wet and muddy. Upstairs, the bedrooms were extremely comfortable. There was a collection of games and cards and a few interesting books on the area. Location-wise, it was perfect - central yet quiet. The bus station and Booths supermarket were only a 10 minute walk away and there were excellent sandwich shops and restaurants close by. It also made a change to be able to deal with a small, local agency where the staff were very helpful. As for suggestions for improvement, a few coat hooks by the front door would be most welcome ((there are hooks in the utility, but that is next door). Also the shower pressure in the main bathroom is very low, but not sure if anything can be done about that. We would definitely stay again.

Great stay

This was our first time using Keswick Cottages and our stay in Daisy Cottage was great. The booking process was easy and it was easy to get hold of Keswick Cottages whilst we were away, we have booked through them again Daisy Cottage was very roomy for the two of us, was great to have extra space for our clean gear in the spare room and space for our wet gear in the utility room. Plenty of room to relax as well. The property has clearly been refurbished recently and to a very high standard. It was immaculate. I agree with some of the reviews that the cottage is chilly, there is a thermostat but not all of the radiators seemed to come on when we turned it up. However it is an old cottage so we expected this and brought cosy clothes so it didn’t really bother us. Location is excellent. You get some noise from people heading home on a Saturday night but nothing major and to be expected when you’re two secs from the pub! We booked to stay again before we left.

Weekend in Keswick

Lovely cottage, very central but quiet, we had a lovely weekend. Very clean, beds very comfy and everything we needed in the kitchen (although we did eat out can highly recommend Fellpack restaurant). The only downside was the WiFi which is patchy to say the least, but what do you expect with all those beautiful big hills! Just be warned though if you’re staying there with young people, they will moan about how slow it is, but apart from that I would definitely recommend Daisy Cottage
