"This cottage is very spacious with 4 double bedrooms, with a huge kitchen and other large rooms downstairs plus a large patio. The kitchen is very well stocked with crockery, cutlery, and all sorts of cooking equipment - easily the best cottage we've come across for these things. The location is great for access to the hills and although you can walk to Keswick or an eatery, you'll probably need to drive for the most part. "A quiet location with good views over the fells - a joy to sit in the lounge with this lovely vista. Nice walks from the front door without having to take the car. The cottage was very well equipped with everything we needed, although we could not find a dustpan to go with the brush in the kitchen. A problem with the immersion heater on our last day was resolved promptly and. without fuss. A perfect location for those seeking peace and solitude."

"We had a wonderful time at Harriet's Hideaway. The house is lovely and was spotlessly clean. The beds were super comfortable and the area so quiet. We did 3 walks from the house, up Grisedale Peak, Whinlatter and Barf and they were stunning. The house is close enough to Keswick to do a shop but it feels so remote and wonderful once you're there. "This is a great apartment - it has a great location within 5 minutes walk of the centre of Keswick super handy access to Booths Supermarket and great views to the North looking at Skidaw and its approaches. Inside it is comfortable and has everything that you need for your stay - all kitchen and laundry is as expected and bed linen plus bath and hand towels were provided for each guest. Will absolutely stay again."
