8/10 Good
"First time staying in a Wordsworth lodge. Great position on the site, right next to the reception and the restaurant. We did have some very noisy neighbours, playing music loudly round the hot tub late in to the night which was a shame. Also, the dishwasher didn’t appear to work, it wouldn’t clean the dishes no matter how many times we tried, so we had to revert to washing them by hand. Also, the shower in the EnSuite bedroom did not drain, so the tray would flood."

"Everything about the lodge and the holiday was great. The only comment I have is about the wear and tear/cleanliness. They are some marks on the walls that have not been painted over just needs a bit of a refresh. These lodges are also dog friendly. There were quite a bit of dog hairs on the sofa, causing one of our family members to have a bit of an allergic reaction. Would be wise for the cleaning staff to brush and vac the furniture just for those who may have allergies and are not staying with a pet. Other than that, the staff were great the location is beautiful the lodges are large, modern and facilities are great!"

Holiday lodge with stunning views near the shore of Bassenthwaite Lake

10/10 Excellent
"The lodge was really lovely and very well equipped. Very comfortable beds. Only disappointment was not being able to use the washer as the kids were in lake every day and really needed to use it. I know there was one on site but it was just bit of a hassle. Other than that it was lovely and would definitely be visiting again."
