"Fantastic location, staff were exceptional - especially given they were dealing with a very large group booking. Free Spa / Pool area is good and great after a long walk in the fells. Some areas of the hotel need a little TLC for the 4* rating."

"Another fantastic stay! This is our second visit to this lodge and both times have been amazing! Thr hosts ate very quick to return any questions we had and are always accommodating to our needs. The location is fantastic and gives us plenty of places to visit during our stay!"

Everywhere else did look ok though, not spotless but nothing worth making a fuss over. There are positives, the views from the lodge (45) where amazing, it was so peaceful and quiet, it had everything you needed in the kitchen, the tv was abit hit and miss with signal the sane with th"
