"The property was lovely, and clean. A great location with good amenities. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor which was a bit tricky for us staying with young kids and not mentioned in the information, and the on street parking availability on the street mentioned nearby was really limited, but we travelled on a very busy school holiday weekend. The accommodation is modern, spacious, warm, comfortable and the owners have provided all the equipment that you could possibly need. Langrigg Cottage is definitely a home-from-home property and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I can highly recommend this property."

Despite feeling away from it all you are only a 10 minute drive from Keswick (and also has a good bus service if you want to leave the car behind). We took an amazing bus ride over the Whinlatter pass to Buttermere then on over the Honister pass and up the valley alongside Derwent Water.
