The layout is great and our toddler enjoyed playing in the large lounge and dining area where we could keep an eye on her through the glass windows in the downstairs doors. We appreciated the books for babies and young children and lake district guides for adults. The welcome goodies were a nice touch. "We spent Halloween 2024 at Whitehall Pele tower to celebrate our paranormal teams (S.P.I.R.I.T UK-Solway Paranormal) 10th anniversary. Every year we spend our anniversary night in an historically rich location and Whitehall, with its history and its mention in several local legends was perfect. Very spacious, modern, yet still holding onto its old world atmosphere. Its just a shame we only stayed for the one night as it would take several to take in everything this beautiful place has to offer....

"Great location for a mini break away. Very short walk to town centre for shops, pubs/restaurants etc. amazing proximity to the lake, short drive if you would like to tackle Scafell Pike. Nice size apartment on second floor for two people and a dog"

"The Cottage was ideally located for lots of adventures and had a very homely feel. The Cottage has the benefit of off road parking and because there are really good amenities in Braithwaite together with the fabulous walks from the door ranging from a Wainwright to a gentle stroll around the village we didn't use the car. We particularly enjoyed the walk up Barrow and Outerside with our dog Toby. I'm sure we will be staying again."
