"A stunningly beautiful house and gardens in an equally beautiful location, the hosts were very hospitable and very knowledgeable about the local area, the bed was super comfy and ample room in the bathroom with a very good walk in shower, full English breakfast was cooked to perfection, home made Blackberry jam you have to try, local pub nearby for food but remember to book a table for eavning dining. "

"Location is great. Staff are very helpful, breakfast is excellent and lots of choice. We had a superior room at the Windermere Rooms. I expected a better view/facilities for the cost, rooms were very warm but could be easily fixed by turning the radiators down. Floor in the bedroom was slightly uneven which didn’t affect the stay but something I didn’t expect for the price of the room. I would definitely stay again but probably wouldn’t pay for a superior room."

"Super friendly and quick check in. Prompt room change when the room key wasn't working. Excellent spa facilities - notably the thermal pool. Good range of breakfast options (the pancakes from the kitchen order options were fab). Good quality food for evening meal in the dining room. The location speaks for itself - fantastic. "

"The location was very good & the hotel provided a parking permit for the pay & display car park across the street. Room was small which was fine but the en suite bathroom is not even a little bit sound proof so doesn't leave much to the imagination! The water pressure for the shower wasn't great & the water stopped intermittently whilst in the shower. Breakfast was nice but limited to full English, salmon & scrambled eggs or pancakes with maple syrup. "
