"Booked this B&B to use as the first stop on our Lake District trip. It's less than a 10 minute walk from the centre of Ambleside and the owners were so welcoming. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was served daily in a little dining room with individual tables for each room, and you picked your food choices the night before. Tina even makes her own delicious homemade jam which was available to try as part of the breakfast - which I ended up buying, along with several other guests! Overall a lovely stay and would definitely come back."

"Stayed for 2 nights with our 2 spaniels. Immediately made to feel really welcome on check in. Lots of information given, even where to take the dogs for a early morning toilet stop. Parking permit given for the duration of our stay, no extra charges for the dogs 🐕👍. The room was spotless, lots of storage space for clothes. The b&b is decorated very tastefully with small little quirky bits around the place. Breakfast was so good, all quality ingredients and cooked perfectly. Definitely set you up for a good days walking. A nice steady 10 min walk into the centre, would recommend and hopefully return on our next short break to Ambleside."

Cons - Car park full so had to pay for parking on car park next door. No plates at breakfast only cardboard dishes which made it difficult to butter toast as the bread wouldn't fit in the dish. Would definately stay here again though & just maybe arrive earlier to get a parking space."
