"Lovely, quiet, peaceful location. Lovely place to stop staff very friendly and helpful and food was fantastic. The room very clean and tidy had a great view of the countryside and the sheep and horses in the field next door."
"A great stay, the accommodation worked extremely well for my family. It was very clean and tidy and we enjoyed our stay. It is 5 miles from my son’s house and would stay here again, Thank you."
"YHA set in a stunning location, basic accomodation with easy access to the Lake District set in stunning scenery.
Good food, friendly staff and excellent value for money."
"Stayed for 4 nights in this gorgeous cottage. Traditional looking but with modern facilities. Well stocked kitchen with a large fridge. The village is quiet & peaceful just outside of Keswick. The real bonus is the private garden with comfy sofas. Parking is tight but we did have a wide car & it was nice to have it on the driveway. Good communication and able to self check in. "
"Dining options was limited unlike the other stays like premier Inn etc where we get attractive breakfast.
There were no toothpaste and brush set kept in bathroom where they will be kept in most of the hotels.
Apart from the above, stay was excellent"
"Great location in Keswick, spacious with a modern kitchen and nice touches.
Would stay again, just needs some of the cobwebs sorting out and a lock on the master bathroom door."

"Perfect find fir a few nights away with the bonus of parking in Keswick!!
Hotel was beautiful and certainly above the ‘stars’ given.
Bedrooms were massive and tastefully decorated. Breakfasts were amazing and plenty of it.
Some decor dated bit the staff certainly made up for any of that. .. Kind, professional, knowledgable, engaging abd with a sense of humour. …. Certainly a credit to Hotel.
Hotel has recently been modernised bit nit lost its Victorian charm.
Definitely worth a visit "
"There is no lift in this hotel. It’s an old Manor House.
All clean very spacious rooms , beautiful views. Breakfast was delicious. Very dog friendly
"
"Excellent location and lodge. Very peaceful and quiet. Keswick only 15 minutes away. Lake was excellent but don’t forget to bring your equipment etc as you cannot hire any canoes, boat on site. One minor bad comment was the outside furniture had bird poo on it and could have been avoided if they had been covered. Will definitely be booking at again and recommend to anyone wanting a quiet holiday with family and friends. "
"Beautiful location with lovely views. Excellent breakfast and evening meals, good quality and plentiful.
Staff were friendly and helpful at all times.
Relaxing spa- warm pool.
A really lovely place to stay."
"Stayed the 3rd time and got was clean, comfy & had all we needed for a 2 night break with our dog. Matt always at hand on the farm and really friendly and welcoming. Thank you for another lovely stay! "
