"Amazing stay, room we had hadn’t been refurbished but it was fine, bathroom clean and great shower. Tea coffee and biscuits very welcome. Friendly staff. Perfect location for the town centre. Lovely hot breakfast with toast tea or coffee all made fresh. Just one point the single beds are bit too soft on the edges and you could easily fall out. Will definitely return Thankyou for a great stay. Didn’t have eve meal at the Hotel so can’t comment on that."

"It is a beautiful hotel and all the staff was fantastic!! The room was amazing! Fiona at the front desk went out of her way to welcome us. A perfect person to start our hotel stay. Very informative and welcoming! Our dinner and breakfast host Manjo (I probably have spelled his name wrong) was GREAT! My wife has a dairy intolerance and he made sure at night everything was dairy free and he remembered the next morning. All the staff who waited on us we very pleasant, smiling and friendly. You have a great team at this hotel. Please thank everyone for us. "

"We stayed at The Royal Oak this weekend. We loved it from start to finish. Room was lovely. Spacious and comfortable. We did get an upgrade which was a very lovely surprise. Breakfast was 5 star. We had dinner in the hotel one of the nights - again it was amazing. Very busy but that shows how good it is. Overall we loved it and would definitely recommend it to others. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful which really adds to the experience. Our dog even got treated like royalty! Thank you for making our little break so great. We’ll definitely return!"
