"Was ok. Peaceful location but huge gravel car park directly in front of ground floor rooms was noisy in morning and evening. Stale smell inside the hotel in general. Staff were overly “formal / professional” - felt almost awkward at times and didnt feel friendly. Hot breakfast for £25 not good value, continental breakfast at £17 also not good value (yoghurt, granola, canned fruit and watermelon). Good bedding, comfortable beds, but at this price I would not return."

Parking right outside and off street with a very pleasant walk down to the wonderful place that Oban is. The only negative was staying for only one night. Could have gladly stayed another three or four but the one night was memorable all the same thanks to wonderful hosts."
