"The Novotel was a nice hotel. Friendly staff. It suited our needs. It was walking distance to the lake and shopping. We felt safe walking out at night. The room was clean and had a small walkout balcony. Would definiteky stay there again."

We had booked 6 nights stay and during check in upgraded our room to lake view with 60$/night which was worth as it gave us stunning view of lake and mountains and we had 2nd floor room which was connected to the lawn garden.. staff is friendly and helpful. "Room was clean and spacious. Great view of the lake from balcony. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is located just outside the downtown area making it a bit more peaceful. Right across the street is the bus stop if you don’t want to walk into the center of town."

"This place was better than the reviews we read before booking. Easy and smooth check in by very friendly and professional staff. Convenient allocated car park for an fee underneath the building. The one bedroom apartment was spotless and well stocked with tea, coffee, hot chocolate. Close to the main. CBD and easy drive from the airport. We are regular walkers and enjoyed a few strolls to the CBD…. you can use cross streets to go through the less steeper sides. Lots of parking around the outskirts of town too . Spacious room, lovely kitchen - and awesome view of the lake and mountains. Some low level traffic noise during peak hours if you’re highly susceptible to that because the lounge room faces the main road that connects Queenstown CBD to the airport. We’d definitely stay again and highly recommend."
