Kinsale Haven
This townhouse has it all! Large and well furnished interiors, nicely equipped kitchen, and a fabulous location close enough to downtown Kinsale to walk to everything, but on a quiet side street. We would recommend it highly to anyone looking for space, comfort, and very nice ambience. Carmen is a charming host, and helped us with anything we needed as soon as we asked! Kinsale is a small town right on the water with lots of character, interesting sites, and great local pubs. Lovely destination, don't miss nearby Cobh, and stay at Carmen's townhouse! You will have a lovely time in this very pleasant part of southern Ireland, away from the big cities. 5 stars!!!

Irish travel and reunions
The property was extremely clean and very well furnished and beautifully kept.The kitchen was very well equipped to cater for a large group with plenty of plates, cutlery various glasses and loads of cooking utensils. The location was perfect as you couldn’t get any more central. 5 min walk if that to shops, pubs, restaurants and the bustling Kinsale. Loads of places to walk the dog too, as long as you don’t mind going up and down a few hills. The beaches nearby of Garylucas and Garrets-town were well loved by all especially the dog who was done in by the end. Cork centre is only 30 min drive away and the beautiful beaches of Rosscarbery only 45 mins away. There were loads of well priced pubs restaurants to eat and were all very accommodating. Man Friday and hamleys were our favourites. The only odd thing was the outside seating area being off the top bedroom but it was lovely and caught the sun in the evening and not an issue for us at all.

Lovely stay
Good location and easy check-in, check out. Some things not working like dryer. Kitchen dark but dining room full of light and good for dining and studying. Would have liked top sheets on beds and more blankets, plus a couple of umbrellas. Everything else orderly, comfy, soundproof.

WARNING: Owner is a liar
Reservation starting March 15, 2020 DURING COVID 19 worldwide crisis... Owner would not refund our money even though the property was not ready, or cleaned during a pandemic. She did not leave key as stated. She informed us she would refund money via phone however never followed through. DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY!!! The owner is not honest, does not adhere to policy, even her own stated policy. She should not be apart of the travel community.

Your request for a last minute cancellation due to a change in accommodation requirements was unfortunately outside our refund policy and was therefore declined by myself and also on review by HomeAway. The property is always cleaned and checked when guests depart so their damage deposit can be returned. The property is therefore always ready and available for the next guests. Unfortunately due to the pandemic we haven't been able to welcome any guests during this period of restrictions. It has been our policy to refund in full all guests who have been unable to travel at this time.

Great space for the 6 of us. Close to market and downtown restaurants. So quiet. Patios were lovely. The only complaint was water pressure in one of the two full baths. Otherwise a wonderful week.

Great location, comfortable roomy house
This location can’t be beat! The parking space was especially nice to have secured. Nice house to be able to spread out our group of 5. Convenient to have washer and dryer! Great natural light and modern amenities. Wonderful!

Next door neighbor is a newsy body and made it impossible to park in front of our rental, despite running her own hostel. Otherwise, great location with access to the town.

Great 3 story home close to all that Kinsale has to offer
We loved our home away from home in Kinsale. It was clean, comfortable and had all the comforts of home. The property has a bathroom on each floor, and washer, a fully equipped kitchen and 4 spacious bedrooms. The 3rd floor bedroom could be the master bedroom since it has an ensuite, or even better for a family as it has 3 beds. The only drawback (for some) would be the hill up to the house. We didn't have a problem with it, but it might be an issue for some. Otherwise, it was perfect and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Spacious Clean and well equipped. Perfect location for kinsale.
Excellent place to stay right in kinsale with a 2 min walk to shops restaurants and pubs. Easy free parking on road if more than 1 car . Rooms were very clean and lots of nice touches to make it feel like home. The beanbag the size of a bed in the lounge was very popular. !! The kitchen was large and airy with a big dining table and so much cupboard space. Loads of equipment and at least twice as many plates dishes mugs and cutlery than the 9 people it caters for. Carmen left shampoos etc in bathrooms very handy if on hand luggage and also washing up liquid dishwasher tablets and clothes washing gel. The steakhouse was wonderful and Dinos fish and chip supper proved popular and some great little pubs. It is only about 20 minutes from cork airport and 35 from cork centre (handy for Ed Sheeran)We had a wonderful 4 days. Thank you Carmen for all the help before we arrived as well. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Only thing we missed was a full size cheese grater!!

A fantastic property in a really central location . Property was super clean and well appointed.
We stayed for Thanksgiving week and the property was perfect for our needs. The owner left cookies, tea, coffee and milk which was really appreciated as we got there later in the evening. The top floor was perfect for our kids. My parents and In laws live in Cork and both spent a few days with us . We had plenty of room for everyone . The three bathrooms ( one on each floor) were fantastic . The decor was beautiful but easy to keep clean. The kitchen was great - everything required to make a Thanksgiving dinner for 10 people and the dining area accommodated everyone perfectly. The entry way hall had plenty of space for jackets , shoes etc . It was quite cold during our stay so this was essential. Each room had a heater so we could heat the rooms as we needed to - this was a cold week but it was always warm and cozy in the house . We never had a problem securing the parking space in front of the house and when our parents visited they easily found parking within easy access of the house. The house had WiFi and lots of tv channels. There is also a really nice outdoor patio off the top floor but we didn’t use it as it was cold and wet during our stay -it would be lovely during the summer. Our main reason for picking kinsale as our vacation destination was to sample the fabulous restaurants in the area - we were in walking distance to all of them ( even for a family member with some mobility issues- there is a steep hill up to the house so we chose to use a taxi for the ride home one of the evenings ) - we loved the blue haven, fishy fishy and jimmy Edwards . We also visited many locals sights which were easily accessible during our stay - highlights included Fota wildlife park , Cobh heritage center, Blarney castle and Charlesfort. Overall I would say this was one of the best properties we have stayed in both in terms of location and the house itself. Owners were also super easy to deal with - very prompt with contact and they returned our deposit within a week of returning home. We will be returning.

Lovely, cozy, filled with natural light
Lovely home, tastefully and comfortably furnished. Natural light throughout. Large kitchen and dining area stocked with lots of dishes and cookware. We were a family of 7 and we had another family of 4 staying nearby who joined us for dinners and this was a great place to entertain. Large bedrooms and bathrooms with great showers. Bathrooms well stocked. Gorgeous deck from top floor (we didn’t use due to winter weather but in summer would be fabulous). One of single beds had a rather poor mattress - we didn’t need all the beds so it wasn’t an issue for us. Great location right in heart of town but also very quiet. When we return to Kinsale we look forward to staying again. Carmen was very responsive to all inquiries.

Arundel House was perfect for us!
We were happy with Arundel house in Kinsale. The house was quite large, offered our 3 couples their own private space, and yet we had a great dining room and living room to use as a group. The place was clean and kitchen was well stocked with dishes and condiments. The best part is it's less than 5 minute walk to the town center down the hill. Just a note - the house is very old but updated somewhat. Thank you Carmen.

A lovely spacious property
A small group of us stayed here as a sports team and the house was fantastic. It's in a great location just a few minutes walk from the centre of the town. The well stocked kitchen and dining area meant we could have a good breakfast and prep lunches for our days on the move each morning. The bedrooms were roomy and spacious with really comfy beds. I highly recommend this rental and the owner was a pleasure to deal with!

Great house, great location
We were a family with 4 small kids and 4 adults and the space inside this home was perfect. The kids all slept on the top floor in the large bedroom with a full/queen bed and 2 twins. The adults slept in the 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. The living room had plenty of sitting/lounge space and the kitchen and dining room comfortably had space and seats for all of us. The house is nicely furnished, clean, and well-appointed. While we never met Carmen in person, she left clear notes for us in the house and was very responsive to any questions we had via the HomeAway app. The location of the house couldn't be better with easy walks (3-5 min) to Kinsale center, grocery, bars, restaurants, and the promenade along the water. It was also an easy 30 min drive to Cork, 15 min to Old Head and the beautiful beaches there, and 45 min to Midleton and the Jameson Experience. We had a wonderful stay and will try to stay here again the next time we visit. The only 2 slight issues we had were with parking as a neighbor kept parking in our spot in front of the home and street parking could be difficult to find at times. I would also agree with the earlier reviewer's comment that shades or blinds would be nice in the front bedrooms because the street light shines into the rooms at night and the curtains are not thick or dark enough to block it out.

Superb!
It is a beautiful, comfortable house. The location is perfect: a short walk from all the sights, restaurants, and pubs - but also very quiet. I would highly recommend this property and would gladly stay there again. (Only suggestion is to put some black-out curtains on the windows facing the street as the street light shines in at night.)

Lovely newly renovated house within easy walking distance to Kinsale and all the restaurants, pubs and shops that Kinsale has to offer The owners have renovated this house recently and made it very comfortable with lots of room for the maximum number of guests advertised Kinsale is a must visit in Ireland and this house is perfect particularly for a family or group stay

Great property, great location!
Highly recommend this property for a large family or two families. We had two families (nine) stay very comfortably. Kitchen very functional and all new appliances. All bathrooms recently remodeled. Easy walk to town and Jim Edwards ( great food). No problems parking in front of home. Very Clean, well maintained! Owner was great to work with. Thank you for a great stay!! One recommendation - one more frying pan.

Wonderful property. Conveniently located.
