"The minute you walk into the Exchange Hotel, the staff are extremely attentive and professional. The checkin process was one of the best I have ever experienced! We stayed in the 11th floor in a corner suite and the room was stunning! The snack area was awesome and nice to be able to have some coffee, pastries and other snacks! Super impressed with our stay and highly recommend to other travellers!"

"This is a cute hotel/motel type property. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and have everything you require. Unfortunately, in my room (which was directly onto Burrard Street), the curtains were about an inch too short, allowing light to stream in all night. I managed to stuff some pillows under them to try and block most of it out, but it made for an unrestful sleep. The amenities in the room are great, but some attention to detail (such as the coffee maker being unplugged) meant I had to pull the fridge out before I could make coffee in the early morning. Overall, the property is great for a one-night stay and affordable for a central Vancouver location."

"We stayed in the East Tower. Room was very dated and very beat up. Marks in walls, furniture and doors. No fan in the bathroom and no ability to change the room temperature. The suite rooms are not large and the pull out couch was so noisy we pulled it off the couch and placed it on the floor. Only one elevator was working during our stay and waits to go up and down were extremely (10-20mins) long. The hotel was obviously very top notch when it originally opened but it's well passed the time for upgrades; especially with the nightly rate. Pros were the pool and free/cheap parking. Fridge and Kettle in the room. Also great access to the Richmond Night Market and Skytrain."
