A gorgeous property very close to the water and boat transportation into the Old City! The staff was very helpful and friendly. I also loved the history of the building - the previous home of an opera singer.

Great location, wonderful staff and relaxing town
This is a well run hotel right on the harbor. We arrived by car and the hotel is in a pedestrian only area but the parking area is only a short walk away. We were in room 6 which had a shared balcony for us to relax and people watch as well as visit with the people in the room next door who also had use of the balcony. Stanka, the concierge, gave us excellent advice on where to go and sites to see. The room was well equipped and comfortable.

I could not be happier with my stay at Villa Pattiera. The people were super friendly and helpful, the room was totally charming and very clean. The hotel is connected to a restaurant with delicious Croatian food and is in the middle of the old village. As a woman traveling alone, I felt completely safe. What a gem!!

Super friendly and a very comfortable
The hotel is located in one of the best parts of the town, right in between two beaches and restaurants, shops and the beach almost right in front. Considering that the hotel is a conversion of an old town house, the rooms are very generously proportioned, those facing the bay boasting gorgeous views. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast has all one would expect, AC actually works properly. This is definitely a place my family and I would come back to

Gorgeous little hotel inside Kotor walls, BUT...
We were given the "attic" room at the very top. It was a spectacular room, super modern, absolutely incredible. Great service. WARNING: Friday/Sat nights the plaza outside is an outdoor dance club, however, it is stopped by 2am (though we were told on special holidays / Saturday nights (as opposed to Friday nights) it can go until 4, 5, even 6am). This is the only reason we'd never stay here again (on a weekend night).

Amazing family-owned hotel
Our stay was fantastic. The hotel is located in the very center of Cavtat, next to the promenade. It is surrounded by a number of restaurants and boutiques. It is a lovely old building with only 12 rooms, which we loved. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated with all the amenities we could need - a safe, a refridgerator, a TV, a large wardrobe. Additionally, we had access to a big terrace with an amazing view. The staff was extremely friendly. Everyone did their best to make sure that we had everything we needed and that we were satisfied. The owner took time to start a conversation with us and we got to know a little bit about the history of the place and the story of how the hotel was set up. The breakfast was lovely, with amazing service, a well-stocked buffet and a variety of cooked breakfast meals from the kitchen. Upon departure we were given coffee and sandwiches at five in the morning, which was a lovely gesture. Overall, we loved our experience entirely and we will definitely be coming back.

Nice location in Cavtat
The service and location was great. The terrace looking with a view of the sea was nice and was just accessible from two rooms. I wish there was a better sea view from the "deluxe" room but the description was accurate. My only real complaint was the twin beds pushed together to make a double bed had an uncomfortable divider between the beds and a fairly thin mattress. The shower was a little hard to use without soaking the floor outside of the tub. We primarily picked this hotel since it was rated the highest of available hotels in Cavtat and we wanted to stay closer to the airport since we had an early morning flight. It is only 5-10 minutes away. In fact, another couple took a cab to the airport at 5:45am and he returned to get us before 6am for our trip to the airport. Much closer and convenient than Dubrovnik.

It was a one night stay, prior to an early morning flight. The hotel is old, in the classic style small hotel. it was clean and comfortable. Airport shuttle is at extra cost, but reasonable. Early departure was prior to breakfast, but night clerk made coffee and a sandwich for me. It is family owned and operated, and this gives personality and integrity to the operation. (They also own a major restaurant in town- 20 ft across the pedestrian St. Give it a try.

Picturesque Coastal Town
Villa Pattiera is a boutique hotel about 3/4 hr. drive from Dubrovnik. It has 3 floors (no elevator) and located in the middle of town. Our room had two comfortable twin beds, was clean with normal amenities, WIFI, and a blow dryer. Check-in was easy, very pleasant staff who made every effort to ensure our comfort. Breakfast is included serving eggs, cereal, breads, etc. Arriving early they held our luggage while we checked out the town. The town is a small, picturesque coastal town with shopping, plenty of restaurants to choose from and an easy walking path located along the Dalmatian coast where you can sun and swim on the rocky beaches (swim shoes highly recommended). There is a wonderful ice cream shop across from the hotel which was always busy. If arriving by taxi you must get out of the taxi before reaching the hotel (easy short walk) as only residents can drive into town. Villa Pattiera can also be reached via water taxi from old town Dubrovnik. We chose Villa Pattiera as it is roughly 15 mins. to the airport - transportation can be arranged by the hotel at a reasonable price. We were very please with Villa Pattiera and highly recommend it and would return.

Great accidental fortunate find!
Hotel was close to the airport and far enough away from the tourist crowds of Dubrovnik. Thought our hotel was in Dubrovnik then felt very fortunate to (finally) get to the peaceful little town of Cevtat instead. Everyone at hotel was helpful and kind, rooms clean and neat, bathroom roomy and complete. Walking trails around the bay great, water beautiful to swim in, beaches not crowded, and everyone genuinely nice. Perfect.

Great location but no on site parking, had to leave the car in the public, 60Kn per day, parking lot. Restaurant doesn't have the view of others that are closer to the boat moorings. Excellent staff, knowledgeable and anxious to please. Very good breakfast - probably the best we had in three Croatian locations. Not too far to walk to the beach for a nice gently shelving water entrance - no rocks like many of the other Croatia beaches.

This hotel is great. Its only a matter of seconds from the bus station, the front, a supermarket, chemist, restaurants and cash machines. What made our stay there was the friendly and helpful staff. Stanka on reception was always on hand to help with tickets, bookings etc and was a mine of useful information. Michaela served us breakfast and was always pleasant and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rest of the staff were all friendly and pleasant also. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Our 2nd visit and we were not disappointed. Rooms, location, helpfulness of staff were excellent, breakfast was great with full choice of buffet or cooked despite it being end of season. Missed a real garden to sit out in, chairs etc provided on patio, which was quite pleasant but not really garden space, this is the downside of being in a historic hotel on the quayside!!

Great hotel, right in the main hub of Cavtat. Step out onto a street of bars and restaurants along a pedestrianised street along the marina. Great for watching the boats coming and going. Boat to Dubrovnik right on our doorstep. Quiet hotel, despite its location. Our room was large with an equally large balcony overlooking the harbour. Very clean, comfortable. Good breakfast. The staff were just lovely. So welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nothing was a bother. No pool but could just hop into the sea like the locals which was less than 100yds from the hotel. Couldn't really fault it. Definitely recommend it. .

Perfect location to explore Cavtat, really close to the main stretch of bars and restaurants. Room was very clean and windows kept noise out even though our room overlooked the busy restaurant area out front. It was a little warm and the air con wasn't working until the last night of our stay, but I think a mini-heatwave had caught them by surprise. Staff were very pleasant, and provided a little bottle of champagne and chocolate strawberries on the day of my birthday. Hotel provides transfers to the nearby airport too for a little less than the taxis charge. Breakfast was okay, though not brilliant, but if you prefer to sleep through you can pick up breakfast later at the bakery right next door. There are a number of terraces around the hotel (we were on the second floor and had a two-person balcony off our room as well as a larger terrace over the hall at the back of the hotel) so it was always easy to find somewhere to relax, either in the shade or the sunshine, or overlooking the busy street or the quieter back of the property. Some people have commented on the fact keys must be left at reception when leaving the property and it doesn't always seem to be manned, but we were there a week and there was only one time when there wasn't someone out the front of the building/restaurant area greeting us on the way in - it felt pretty secure.

Not for the first time we found the Villa Pattiera a haven of civilisation and comfort. Nothing is too much trouble for the intelligent and charming staff. The owners are always on hand to ensure that one's stay is a pleasant one.

So well looked after.
We spent a week at this hotel and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in the centre of the village, we had a room from which we could see the sea, very comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom complete with shower cream and shampoo ( a big space and weight saver if you are travelling light). The breakfast is great, a wide choice and basically we felt that whatever we asked for would be provided. In the evenings we like to go round the restaurants and choose a different one each night, and in Cavtat there are enough to do that for 10 days or so, so we only ate once at the Villa Pattiera. The meal was very enjoyable and we had no complaints in fact we probably enjoyed the House Red there more than anywhere else.

The best part of Villa Pattiera is the great staff and location. The town of Cavtat is not to be missed and the personnel at the hotel couldn't have been nicer. The breakfast was great...anything you asked for was served. The room was minimal (safe very small and non-secure-you could easily pick it up and carry it out of the room, no ventilation-air cond wasn't yet turned on, room stuffy, street below noisy, etc)

small friendly hotel we visited early october so the hotel and area we not that busy which was very nice. staff we all very helpful food was good,breakfast was excellent with good choice and cooked to order in no time at all.no lift in hotel,but not a problem as you only had to ask if you needed cases bought down etc. very clean, nice new bathroom, towels changed every day. i would recommend this hotel to anyone!

We only stayed one night and partly with a view to the proximity of Cavtat to the airport. We wished we had stayed longer. This is a lovely little village with great dining and swimming spots. The hotel is very well located and the staff are great. Our room did not have a balcony, but we did not spend too much time in the room and the room size was very comfortable. The shower was a good size, although it had the type of door (part closing, flip close type) that caused lots of water to get onto the bathroom floor despite one's best attempts to avoid this. This would really be my only complaint. Excellent, efficient and friendly staff, clean room.

We stayed here for 7 nights at the beginning of June and had a great time. We were in one of the smaller rooms but had a great roof terrace for our exclusive use which was an added bonus. The staff were all very friendly, very helpful and very professional - we could not pick fault with any of the staff. The hotel was kept clean and a small issue with the air-conditioning unit was fixed within the hour.

We spent one night at the Villa Pattiera at the end of a 3 week trip. We chose it because it was so close to the airport. We had an early flight and had to be at the airport at 6:00 am. When we checked in we told Nina we would be leaving around 5:45 am. She asked if we would like breakfast to be packed for us to go. We said yes and the next morning at 5:45 we were met by a gentleman who gave us two large bags containing sandwiches and lots of fresh fruit! What a great way to send us off. Our two teenage boys were very happy to have food while we waited for our flight. We really appreciated that they were so willing to accommodate our early schedule. We had the deluxe room on the second floor which was roomy enough for the four of us. There was a sitting area with a pull out couch. There was also a lovely terrace overlooking Cavtat which we shared with another room (although we never saw our neighbors). We had lunch and dinner at the hotel's restaurant. When we finished lunch, Nina mentioned that they get very busy at night and that if we planned on dining there that night she would be happy to hold a table for us. Another nice touch! Cavtat is a lovely town and we wished we had had more time to visit! We will return!
