"We had a wonderful time in this spacious suite. Communication with our host was excellent and friendly and we appreciated the nice touch of a welcoming loaf of bread. The interior was spotless and very comfortable. Yes, the trains are very close but not frequent and did not bother us. Very convenient location near shops and restaurants and quirky Nelson neighbourhoods."

"We’ve stayed at this BW multiple times and it is always very good…our room this stay was smaller than most we have stayed in and the AC unit was loud unfortunately. We mentioned it upon check out and the staff apologized said they would have maintenance look at it right away. Will continue to book with this Hotel as it is in a great location and has an amazing restaurant."

"I wanted to like this place, but overall it fell short. The room felt pretty worn down, with scratched-up walls and exposed plumbing in the bathroom that made it feel unfinished and not very well maintained. The biggest issue for me was the in-wall AC unit. It’s an older style, and unfortunately there was a bird’s nest in the exterior housing. Throughout the night, I kept hearing scratching and metal noises that made it really hard to sleep. I told the girl at the front desk. She apologized but didn't offer anything to make up for my lack of sleep. I should have slept in my car. The one bright spot was the staff—they were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. But between the condition of the room and the noise, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again."
