Highly recommended
Really nice hotel, plenty of free car parking, friendly staff. Packed lunch due to our extra early start was a really nice touch. Hotel is a little bit off the main road but that made us feel more secure.

Excellent hotel, well laid out grounds, friendly and helpful staff, the food was of a very high standard. Secure parking in there CCTV covered car park and the gates were locked over night.

Amazing stay in ultimate comfoet
The stay in the hotel was amazing, we tried foods we wouldn't usually try, we slept in complete comfort, the only disappointment was when was made aware that you have to book spa treatments 2-3 weeks a head of our stay.

Very pleasant spa hotel
Very pleasant spa hotel with helpful staff, comfy rooms, great breakfast selection and their own cosmetics in the rooms and a cool playground for kids outdoors. Convenient if you travel along the A4 to stop over.

Very quiet and relaxing. Good food, comfortable bed and very clean room. Staff are very helpful and clean. The hotel is outside of the city about 3 mile. tram is 1.70 zl less than 20p to centre of the city. Trams run every five to ten minutes. Shops and open market 10 minutes away by foot.

We were very impressed with the hotel overall. The grounds are lovely. The staff were efficient and friendly. The restaurant waiting staff are exceptional. The food is really good and the menu has a wide choice of dishes. I would definately book the Formona again. Love it.

Lovely hotel, great location -brilliant value!
We had a lovely stay hotel is clean and fresh with great amenities,breakfast has a large selection from pastries, fresh fruit,cheeses,meats and a hot option such as sausages,eggs and pancakes. The hotel provides toiletries such as shampoo, hair masks, moisuriser, soap,cotton buds, sewing kit and also shower caps. The hotel offers room service from the al a crate resturant downstairs and a mini bar,house keeping visits everyday to restock and clean. The car park was big with lots of spaces, the hotel is between a £7-10 taxi fair from main square, I would advise not to drive because of parking, hotel reception called the taxi for us. WiFi was great and free. My only criticism is on the advertisement it said premium tv channels, I thought there would be at least one English Channel, but unfortunately there wasn’t.

Lovely and quiet hotel and spa
Stayed for 4 nights. Ideal for a quiet break. Set on lovely grounds with a lovely outdoor play area for children and garden for the whole family. Restaurant was brilliant with a balanced menu Relaxing spa with experienced masseuse Room was neat and tidy Hotel was 10mins walk from the St John Paul II Sanctuary and 30min walk from the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy

Great hotel. Plenty of parking!
Very pleasant location. Good outdoor area for al-fresco dinning and a beer or two. Excellent, very reasonably priced food (recommend fillet steak). £7 Taxi ride takes you to Krakow main square.

Lovely hotel in Krakow
Peaceful hotel away from the centre. Plush décor, comfortable room and romantic restaurant. All staff were friendly and helpful. Standard of English was very good and the hotel was extremely clean and quiet.

A very nice hotel on the outskirts of Kraków, not too far a drive from the Main Market Square. Quiet, peaceful location. Nice buffet breakfast, dinner prices reasonable. A cozy lounge and open-air tables outside for drinks. Generous basket of toiletry samples. Cons: restaurant service extremely slow, and no elevator, which made dragging our suitcases up the stairs a real chore. Could be a problem for the mobility-challenged.

An oasis of calm
I stayed here for the last 3 nights of my trip. Having seen the City & taken a few trips, I wanted to relax before flying home. As such I am unable to comment on the ease of reaching the city. There is not much within easy walking distance but I did visit a small clothing outlet around the corner & ate a very nice lunch in the restaurant opposite. Other than that I made full use of the hotel's facilities. The room & bathroom were comfortable & clean. The range of toiletries provided was amazing, prompting me to make a purchase at the spa where I also enjoyed a wonderfully effective massage. Both were very reasonably priced & well below what you would pay in UK. As the weather was great when I was there, I spent time relaxing in the garden & ate from the restaurant. I cannot find enough superlatives to describe how good the food is. Whilst the breakfast was varied, it could be described as standard fare for hotels of this type. Lunch & dinner were in a whole different league. I am usually quite a picky eater but everything tasted great & was beautifully presented with amazing attention to detail. I tried dishes recommended by the waitress & particularly enjoyed the Polish dumplings (light & fresh) & the vanilla parfait which had a Heston Blumenthal touch of with fragrant dry ice escaping from under the lid. Everyone I met was helpful & spoke very good English & I would love to go back if the chance arises.

Very nice hotel a bit far from city square but transport it not a problem. Disappointed to find that although we chose it because it was a spa we could not get an appointment over the 3 days we were there. It would be good to be advised before you go to book if you want a spa treatment.

Nice Hotel but quite a distance from the centre.
The Hotel was nice with good quality, furnishings & coverings. The toiletries were worth a mention as much better than the usual fare. Breakfast was nice too. The hotel's a few miles from the centre and around a mile to the nearest tram stop. Taxies to & from the centre mitigate the value of the accommodation. We'd happily stay there again.

Staff were friendly and professional, with large clean rooms. Only problems were a leaking air-con unit, with us being moved to a different room as soon as we notified them. The hotel food was a little more expensive than expected but was delicious all the same. Only issue is there aren't any restaurants within walking distance so be prepared to drive.

The hotel is a little out from the centre and it's immediate surroundings were not particularly attractive but the hotel itself is well-appointed and the garden which hides the round all round is lovely. Our room was comfortable although not huge with a good-size bathroom - very good for the price we paid which included breakfast. The staff were helpful and efficient. No lift but they helped with the luggage when we asked. The restaurant decor was all brown so rather dark especially at breakfast, which was an extensive buffet. The evening menu was an interesting choice of delicious Polish/European dishes. The massages my friend and I had in the hotel spa were wonderful. My husband was disappointed there was no swimming pool - there is certainly room for one in the extensive garden.

We really enjoyed our stay in Farmona
Me and my husband (24 and 25) stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The room was very comfortable and clean, the furniture was new. We loved to have breakfast in the hotel beautiful garden. By the way the food was very good.The only negative thing is that the hotel is far from the city center, so you will have to pay a lot for a taxi. If it is not a problem, the hotel is perfect. We even did not want to leave our room in the mornings =)

Great stop in Krakow!
This hotel was quite a nice step up from the places we traditionally stay at. The entire place was designed and decorated fabulously. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was helpful and friendly, the restaurant was excellent, and the breakfast buffet was very nice. A little out from downtown but easy enough for sure if you have a car or are willing to jump a taxi. We would definitely stay here again!

Warm hotel a bit far away from the city center
Excellent welcoming, wall of the room are made out of paperbox, you can heard human activity next door ? Wi-Fi are not always getting in the room. The hotel is close walking from a big Mall.

Delightful breakfasts on the patio
We stayed at the Farmona hotel for 2 nights, looking forward to some rest and relaxation after our flights from Scotland to Poland. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The room was quite large, overlooking the patio where we ate breakfast, surrounded by mature trees and landscaped gardens. The trees created shade to help keep the room cool in what in the very hot (over 30C) weather. There was no air conditioning, but the window opened, which meant we could get fresh air. The breakfast buffets were lovely, with a good selection of meats, cheeses, salads, breads, and fruit, and we really enjoyed eating them outside on the patio. We ate there twice in the evening too, and both times enjoyed a very good meal. The service was consistently friendly and helpful. The hotel is a few km outside the centre of Krakow, and its location means you're well away from late night party-goers, so perfect for some peace and quiet. We walked to the tram station one day and took a tram into Krakow, and got a taxi back in the evening. All in all, we would happily recommend the hotel.

The restaurant and the garden were unexpected bonus. The food was excellent and the presentation was excellent. We dine everyday while we were in Krakow. Service were excellent and price was very reasonable. It is located just outside of tourist area but it was worth for us.

Farmona is a very nice hotel but is located quite a distance from the heart of Krakow. However, they offered tours with pickups at the hotel. A cab ride into town was also around $10--a little more returning at night, so we were very satisfied. The hotel restaurant was very nice.

Nice place, well appointed and spa looks lovely but did not partake..I was looking for Internet, a computer, breakfast and parking. I was disappointed with the lack of Internet access in my room (needed to go to the lobby) and the computer noted to me before I booked the room was not available until 8 am when staff where available to open the office. Then it was not available as staff had it out of the office. Very disappointing as was needing a computer for work.

The service everywhere in thr hotel was amazing. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay a great experience. All the staff had a " can do" attitude. I was not feeling well a coupe of days and the restaurant staff made me ginger tea and made sure we were very well looked after. We had a problem with our converters and the maintanence staff went out and got us the proper converter. We stayed two extra days and we would highly recommend this hotel. It's location is central to points of interest and the downtown square. Hope everyone's stay will be as great as ours.

A good hotel for those who like to explore further
This hotel is out of town and you would need a car to get to it from the airport. However, to get into town is only a shortish walk to the tram line by the Carrefour shopping centre and there is easy and quick access to the centre. We used the tram to get to town, but used the hire car to get to the salt mine and to Auschwitz and to explore the beautiful countryside. There is plenty of safe parking on site. The hotel grounds are well kept and are nice to sit in during summer evenings or after enjoying a good meal in the hotel. The dining room's decor is rather dark, but the food is excellent but quite pricey compared with Krakow town centre where you can get plentiful food and drink at a lower price. Our room was small, but comfortable. The shower room was very clean and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water, and there was a good range of toiletries. We did not use the spa facilities but they looked clean and quiet. The hotel generally was quiet. Breakfast was good if you like cold fish, meat, cheeses and egg, but lacked a selection of pastries. It was never crowded and was well stocked throughout. The staff were friendly and gave good information. I would recommend this hotel if you like to travel into town using public transport and yet like the flexibility of going further afield in a car. I would not recommend this hotel if you are just staying a couple of days and only want to explore Krakow.

PARADISE!
Overall this hotel was a great addition to our trip. Away from the city center and high pricing. The breakfast served was wonderful and Reception was very helpful. If interested in visiting the spa, I would recommend booking in advance! The spa location and atmosphere was indeed pleasant and should be visited. Don't shy away from this hotel due to the location, a short taxi ride of 15 minutes will bring you to where you want to be!
