Great Apartment in "Even Better" Location

Fantastically located only minutes by foot to both the Wawel Castle and the Old Town Square. The apartment is well presented and well maintained. Do not be discouraged by the building that the apartment is in. It felt entirely safe and the apartment quality is clearly high when you turn the key to the door.

It is a SCAM!

This place is a scam. We did not stay here because after arriving, we realized it was nothing like the photos. I was on the phone with hotels.com for over an hour and they never resolved this issue. We did not stay here at all and have still been charged the full amount even though we contacted the property and hotels.com and explained that we would not stay here. The apartment had an unlit stairwell with broken glass, beer cans in the plants and overall not the listing in the photos and not clean. I was traveling with my elderly parents and 3-year-old daughter and did not feel safe. Horrible booking exprience that upset our trip for the full day. We will be disputing the charge that should not have been charged in the first place.

The location in the Old Town was excellent with access to coffee shops, restaurants, groceries and the sites. The outside of the building was was a shock for us as it was dirty, with dirty stairs, and we felt unsafe. We couldn't find the light switch and had difficulty seeing our way up the steps. The balcony leading to the apartment was rickety and added to the feeling that we were unsafe.We wondered what we were going to find in the apartment. We had some problem unlocking the front door as we were not used to European double locking system. The apartment was bright, modern and welcoming. Although we had booked a 2-bedroom apartment, one bedroom was a loft, with no privacy or door. The soap dispenser in the 2-piece did not work. The beds were made up with 1 pillow each. we found 2 other pillows but could not find pillow cases. We tried to use the safe but it was under the stairs and there was insufficient light to figure out if the safe was functional. When we were checking out, we had been instructed to place the keys back in the lock box. However, the lock box malfunctioned and it would not secure the key. Finally a neighbor came by and told us to put the keys in mailbox # 26, which we did. That would have been a better instruction. In conclusion, the location is great, more pillow cases would have helped, English instructions on how to use European appliances, cleaning the dirty light switches outside the apartment would make this property very desirable.

WE LOVED THE APARTMENT, IT WAS CLEAN, BEDS WERE COMFORTABLE, THE SHOWER WAS PERFECT. THE ONLY THING WE DID NOT LIKE WAS THE KEY SYSTEM. THE FIRST TWO CODES WORKED, BUT OUR LOCK FOR THE KEY TO THE ROOM WAS NOT EASY. THE KEY WAS NOT EVEN IN THE LOCKER. SOMEONE CAME RIGHT AWAY TO HELP US, SWITCH WAS VERY HELPFUL WITH EARLY CHECK IN. NEED TO PUT LIGHTS IN HALLWAY, SO YOU CAN SEE THE DARK STAIRS, ELEVATORS WOULD BE GREAT ADDITION.WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.

Charming and clean

This would have been impossible to find on our own, however Monika’s communication and directions made it all very easy. She also arranged a shuttle from/to the airport for us. The room was in perfect condition and very clean.Looked just like all of the photos! Comfortable beds! Quiet location at night, until the electric trams start running. The location was walking distance to Wawal Castle, Town Centre and the Jewish district. Not many restaurants right there. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

My stay in Otium Old Town.

There weren’t enough towels. I would like a harder mattress. There is no lift, so it’s hard to climb all the stairs. In everything else it was lovely and clean, near the center. I liked it very much.

Goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding

Appartement ligt centraal in de oude binnenstad, is schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Slechts 10 min lopen naar de binnenstad, vele restaurantjes en winkels aanwezig in de buurt. Goede service, besliste een aanrader!
