The bathroom was quite smelly when I checked in and they had to offer me other rooms, surprisingly the next few rooms offered were also smelly and they staff admitted as well. The room was dusty too as it seemed to me the cleaning was done a while ago. Sound proof was quite poor in the room as I could hear air conditioning and fridge running loudly, not to mention noise from the hallway even my room was at the end of the hallway.

Very nice staff and a great location. Rooms are small but adequate. Beds are nice. As some other reviewers have stated, you can hear hallway noise a bit more than expected, but this wasn't a problem on my visit. Loved the convenience to the subway, and it's only a 20 minute walk to the main station (if you want to get those steps in). 20 minutes in the other direction takes you to an amazing shopping street and market. The breakfast was nice, and they served until 10:30, which was a nice change. I would stay here again.

Me gustó mucho, creo deberían invertir en mejores máquinas en la zona de lavado, normalmente Kyoto ya es el 2do o 3er lugar de vacaciones y es necesario el uso de las lavadoras y secadoras, no funcionan del todo bien y tardan mucho en terminar el servicio, El hotel en general está muy lindo
