"The hotel has a great location, with views across the water to Bryggen. Five minute walk to the town and a coop extra just across the road which was helpful for supplies. Room was clean and comfortable and big enough for a couple sharing with a teen. It would have been helpful to have coat hooks as we frequently had to hang damp coats in the bathroom. With it being a central hotel, it can get noisy at night. We were prepared for that as we like to stay in the centre of the action. But if you need quiet at night you may want to consider a place a little further from the harbour. This is also a hub for Hertigruten tours so there is a very high volume of guests. Unless you have breakfast super early, it gets very busy and you’ll have to sit in the back room, or wait around for a table to be free. Fab variety of breakfast food on offer though, so worth the wait."

"Great hotel. Incredible breakfast included. Had 22nd floor amazing view. Summit Bar on 21st floor gives access to great views for all. Pool is nice plus. Location by Royal Palace and Gardens especially a plus. Great walking distance to waterfront and great areas of city. Trams easy rides to all else."
