"Our villa was spectacular! The property had the charm of an Italian family villa- so beautiful inside and out. Plenty of space for our group with all the comforts of home. Loved the family history. The villa is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The host team were so helpful with great communication from booking and all through our stay. They also helped us arrange a cooking class right at the property!Great location- so close to many great towns. Entire staff made us feel welcome and at home. Would recommend to my family and friends."

"A beautifully renovated property in a small hamlet on the outskirts of Castiglione del Lago. The accommodation is on the first floor of the building and there's a small terrace and two chairs to sit under cover, and access to the garden at the rear. There was a covered parking area adjacent to the property.There were four generous sized bedrooms all with air conditioning and two bathrooms located off a small study area. The kitchen was modern with a good range of crockery/cutlery and sufficient large pans for big family groups. The fridge/freezer was efficient and it was helpful to have a washing machine. There was air con in the kitchen and the attached lounge area, which had plenty of seating for our group of 5 adults.Castiglione is a lovely little town and the museum and castle walls are worth visiting for some great views. They were also doing the outdoor cinema in the castle walls during our visit which was a great experience despite the pesky mosquitos!It was easy to use Castiglione as a base and we took day trips out to visit Assisi and Montepulciano. In Castiglione we found the most fabulous gelateria (BeBop), and also had a lovely meal overlooking the lake at La Pigra Tinca and had amazing seafood linguine at restaurant Via Roma which we'd thoroughly recommend (and wish we'd discovered earlier in the week). Jeremy was responsive and gave helpful recommendations. The only thing we missed because of the heat, was a swimming pool! Excellent property."

"We had a truly lovely stay. Gigi could not have been more helpful with dinner recommendations, events and helping ensure our first holiday with our baby went off without a hitch. The property is lovely, secluded and quiet with a great pool and enchanting kitchen and patio. Thank you again!"

"Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Schönes, im landestypischen Stil gebautes Haus mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Die Lage ist gut um Ausflüge in alle Richtungen zu unternehmen, hervorragende Restaurants ( La Dogana, Borgo Tre Rose) in kurzer Entfernung. Auto unbedingt erforderlich!Es wäre jedoch schön, wenn v o r Übergabe an den Mieter die Funktionalität und Sauberkeit aller Anlagen in und um das Haus ( Wasser, Klimaanlage, Lampen, Pool, Sonnenschirme, Tore) sichergestellt wäre... positiv war allerdings die schnelle Erreichbarkeit der Ansprechpartner!"

"There are two properties on the land but we were lucky that it we were the only ones so noise and disturbance was not a problem. The location was gold! Middle of everything, between Montepuliciano and the big pond in the east."
