"Excellent communication from John before and during our stay. The apartment is very well located about 10 minutes walk from the beach and the main town of La Cala and right next to a big supermarket, a lovely bodega and some great restaurants. The apartment is one of the larger 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartments we have stayed in and has a fantastic balcony with a large table and chairs as well as sofas and a coffee table. The beds have good mattresses and are very comfy. WiFi is great, TV has a good selection of international channels. There is a helpful selection of bathroom and kitchen products including a great hairdryer. The apartment also includes 2 chairs and 2 sunbeds, rugs and beach towels which can be used at the pool area. Absolutely loads of bathroom towels provided as well. The pool was very well looked after. Set in beautiful gardens so plenty of shade as well as sunny spots if you are there for the day. There is a lifeguard on duty most of the opening period if needed. We would definitely recommend a stay here and would book again in the future."

"Staff are fabulous here at Wyndham. Breakfast was really lovely with so many delicious options. Swimming pools are gorgeous. Only downside was the room description on hotels.com. I didn't expect a studio room when I had paid for 'a deluxe junior suite'!!! Really thin walls so could hear everything from next door, including their 1am arrival at the resort, reorganising all the furniture and cooking food!!! The actual resort is gorgeous and has everything you need right there! The beach is a 10 minute walk away too, if you like to go to the beach!"

"We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this villa. It was in a great location, with plenty of lovely local restaurants nearby, and Paul and Lorraine gave us some excellent recommendations that really made the most of our trip.The villa itself was spotless and had everything we needed. All of the amenities were excellent, and our children absolutely loved the games and entertainment provided – it kept them busy for hours.Paul and Lorraine were wonderful hosts, always available if we needed anything while still giving us complete privacy. Their communication and hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable.We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday!"

"Property looked exactly like it did in the photos. Very well stocked with kitchen utensils, pots, plates etc. spices, condiments etc were a great saving. Juice and water in the fridge very welcome for us on arrival. Roof terrace was beautiful and the sun shone there all day. The covered part of the terrace was perfect for eating and great shade when necessary from the afternoon sunshine. We enjoyed the walks to the beach, bars and the restaurants Would throughly recommend this property and we won’t hesitate to revisit."
Luxurious Beach Villa ‘Oasis’ in La Cala de Mijas

"Excellent communication with the host on the run up to the trip. I had organised the villa as part of golfing break for my husband and 7 of his friends. Location was excellent for access to La Cala golf (approx 15/20 minutes away). Views from the villa were lovely, looking straight out to sea with plenty of outdoor space and direct access to the beach. They enjoyed the pool and the bbq and were very comfortable during their stay. They did struggle to locate an iron as it wasn't with the ironing board. The host showed my husband where it was on check out. It would probably be helpful to keep them together to help guests out. They did see a number of ants (as mentioned in other reviews) but it is hot and possibly to be expected, (although it may be worthwhile putting some pest traps in place). Overall a lovely trip was had by all and we would recommend."

"Fantastic property. Pros: Pool and Pool area, along with the covered outdoor dining/seating area are absolutely fantastic and that's where we spent most of our time at the villa, both daytime and evenings until bed time. Never had a pool so warm, 5 year old absolutely loved it. Cons:Clearly been very top end villa, but now just a little dated. One or two minor issues - broken decking boards on veranda of master bedroom for jacuzzi, second bedroom (upstairs) air conditioning unit a little noisy, Master bedroom mattress was uncomfortable (may be us!) but found stains on it when moving out. The basement with the Gym, snooker room and cinema room smelt a little musty on arrival, - (could also do with professional table tennis balls!). Sun beds are good but I would have expected luxury sunbeds with mattresses at this price point.- Rafa did say we should have contacted him with any issues small or large.Overall we had an amazing holiday"
