"This really is a little Oasis next to the beach. We had a wonderful view of the palm trees and the beach. The pools were lovely and not busy. The best thing is the food. Breakfast and evening dinner, loads of choice. Entertainment is excellent too. Dukes band did an Abba tribute one night and a Queen tribute another night. The Tina Turner show was also great. Empire vocal group from South Africa were spot on with their Greatest night in pop show. Will be going back for the third time"

"We stayed only 2 days and one night. Positives were a lovely big hotel with well appointed rooms and delightful shower and bed comfort. Loved the pools but it was extremely busy during our stay and we struggled to find even a single sunlounger even though four of us - didn’t feel great having to put our things on the floor to go for a swim. It was Gran Canaria day though so perhaps this was ann exception. Also parking had run out of space so we had to pay EUR25 to park across from the hotel in a general car park. Staff did not offer much information at check in and I felt like I had to keep popping back to ask for info, towels, where to go for half board meals etc. Bags did not all make it through to room and no one answered a few attempts to phone call through to reception so we ended up having to pop back to reception to ask. The grounds are beautifully kept and pools really special and we loved the styling of the restaurants but even there it just felt staff lacked training and finesse you get in other 5 star resorts. Eg waiting 7 mins to be noticed and seated in a restaurant that only had 4 other tables used and then having to flag for attention to get a spare plate even though they knew we were sharing a pizza. Food was tasty and was lovely to put on the champions league cup final but rather poor that twice they cut it off mid game and mid penalty shoot out as they were running to pre-programmed timing and it taking about 10 mins to get it back on each occasion."

"This place was absolutely beautiful. Two men were outside to greet us at this location as well as assist with bags. The staff was very friendly and assisted us at every step of the way including airport taxi. Everything felt luxurious. The people were amazing. It was unfortunate we only stayed a day but I cannot wait to visit again."

"I don’t think the suite was worth the extra money. The sitting room lacked comfort- seemed like they didn’t know what to do with it. Could have been a really comfortably use. Surprised that there is no dressing table. And no mirror in the bedroom. Only by the front door. Unique pros and cons Pro Breakfast. Sit down service is great food great quality. Spa voucher- must go. Was great and well thought out spa. Designated pool is a nice touch - but not the best pool at the hotel Cons Priority check in (and out) was a designated desk and was almost always not quicker than the standard queue. Never received a free bottle of wine Designated swimming pool was far away from the lounge so not something you will use Lounge was closed at the times you would most likely use it (after breakfast and at the end of the sun) opens 11-6."

"The rooms were beautifully cleaned, plenty of clean towels. The staff went over and above to help. And fulfil your needs. Breakfast and dinner was truly enjoyable with every food you could possibly want, fresh and plentiful. The hotel was truly relaxing, with a beautifully calm and relaxing feel. "

"Great hotel, excellent service and food, very nice rooms. Unfortunately the pool bed reservation issue is ongoing for years. And 7:30am 80% of the pool beds are reserved with towels and most if it not used until 2pm. This is a typical “german” behavior but the hotel seems to be ok with it - unfortunately. Other hotels have clear rules about this. "
