"Almost everything was perfect. Great location with fantastic views, bed big and comfortable, overal the room was fantastic. Food was very good for a buffet with a huge choice that changed daily. Drinks are a reasonable price but limited beer choice, especially if you’re a bit fussy in that area. Only real negatives and to be aware of is very limited parking in the vicinity or at the hotel, nothing available when we arrived late at night and had to use a pay for car park 10 mins walk away, the hotel charges €20 per day and spaces are limited. Also the food at the pool bar was very mediocre. Overal fantastic quiet relaxing hotel with the best views in Tenerife. Highly recommend. "

"The Owners - Throughout the pre- booking process, Nick was very prompt and honest in answering enquiries. After the booking confirmation, we received very detailed instructions on all aspects of the stay. During the stay, he and the excellent villa-managers resolved issues to our satisfaction.Los Gigantes - Expanded massively over the years and now joined to the next resort. Excellent supermarkets and good value for money restaurants. Lots of cars and although everywhere except the harbour is free parking, you are lucky to find a parking space in town. Just about everywhere you walk there are ascents and descents which may be an issue for those with deteriorating mobility.The Villa - Very spacious and very well equipped for storage space, kitchen equipment and food preparation surfaces. There are villas above and although it was very quiet when we were there, but if the villas above are occupied by "lively" and inquisitive guests it might prove a problem. Pool area is very nice and definitely an afternoon and evening place. I am glad we paid for it to be heated. The choice of TV is a real bonus with loads of UK and sports channels. Sometimes it is difficult to park right outside the villa as people drive to view the cliffs, but there is always parking a little further down the hill.I would recommend this villa, maybe not for the full possible capacity of 8 people. "

"This is a great location for Masca (take the bus!), Los Gigantes and Teide national park by car. The hotel is a very attractive building with good parking in nice setting. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is good. Our room was clean and spacious but could perhaps do with a refresh. The ability to get a beer before 6.30pm would be good!"

"There is no central heating in this place; A gas heater and a fireplace are available. The staff offered to start the heater, which we accepted, and a box of wood was provided for self-servicing the fireplace. The gas heater turned off after 10 minutes cause the gas tank was almost empty. On the other hand, I gave up on the fireplace after 90 minutes of successive failing attempts because the wood was extremely wet. The manager was absent and so was the owner. The three employees who were on duty went over their way and beyond their responsibilities to try to resolve the problems, and they successfully did. When I called the owner the day after to let him know that his business was being poorly managed all that he did was to call one of the employees of the previous night to reprimand her. This place has an enormous potential if it was managed properly. However, the absence of proper management turned my stay into a nightmare. "
