"The one and only complaint was the elevator. Only one of two worked, was extremely slow moving from one floor to the next and it was very small. Could only fit 4 people. A lot of time was wasted just waiting for the elevator. Almost missed an Uber ride because of it. Otherwise, very clean, had beach view which was great, food was good, staff friendly but not always knowledgeable about the area. Not within walking distance to restaurants or activities. Would stay again. Would highly recommend. "

"My sec time vacation for my bday in Opal resort . Booked last min.however ,the Hotel restaurant " Drift " bartender not nice .We had dinner at bar not even once bartender greeting . No service . no water for us.very mean . ruined my bday . $5300 flight with 3 nites hotel are not worth it this time. Won't go back again "

"I understand that inexpensive means that amenities will be minimal, but I do expect a clean room that creates a comfortable atmosphere. I have stayed at other Studio and Motel 6. This property does not meet this standard. In my first room most of the lights worked, but the toilet didn't stop running. In my second room, many of the lights in the room did not work. The bed was made so that a very rough and questionably clean blanket was on the bottom, the top sheet on top of it. I walked around the room barefoot and when I put my feet up on the bed I left black marks on the white sheet. I used a hotel towel to clean the floor and it was also covered in black. I used that towel to shimmy around the room for my two night stay. The bathroom door had water damage and the front face was separating from the door frame, and the hinges were operable but took effort to open and close the door. There was coffee in the room, but no coffee maker. I walked to the front desk (the phone in the room did not work) and there were no coffee makers available (Courtyard around the corner has a Starbucks). The staff was very nice but had limited ability to help."

"Room is very clean ; Staff are always ready to help; Breakfast is good Ocean view is awesome; All in all OUTSTANDING place !!!"

"Staff was not friendly, hallway and bedroom were dirty, A/C old and noisy during the night. Very dissapointed, will never go back again, and suggest a full renovation to the entire building."
