"Pros: The house was so beautiful, the area was very safe especially for two young women. The neighbours were also a plus as they were very kind during any interaction. The jacuzzi really added to experience especially being able to watch the sun set from it was truly luxurious and amazing. With only a few minutes walk to the beach and restaurants!! "Lovely hotel with incredible views over the sea, very nice pool, good location with restaurants etc nearby and a 15 mins walk to the main part of Puerto de la Cruz (a bit steep on the way back). Plenty of parking within 5-10 mins walk. Breakfast is good, only negative is that the lifts are quite slow. "

"Excellent location, excellent staff. The breakfast was great and it's a really beautiful place. The rooms couldn't probably do with a slight facelift but it's part of the charm and they're clean, which matters more. I had to switch rooms a few nights in because there was a major leak in the bathroom, these things happen. More importantly, the staff were so helpful and ensured my replacement room had an equally good view. The balcony rooms are 100% worth it. I had such a good time staying here and I've stayed at 5 different hotels in the area. It has a traditional feel, it's family run and there's so much history."

"I think for the area, this is one of the nicer hotels. Location and parking are decent. The rooms look nice, but my husband and I found the beds to be a little uncomfortable and felt like the cleaning staff didn’t really clean the room, just changed the bedding and towels. He We only had our room cleaned once and I can tell almost immediately that the bathroom countertops had not been wiped down. You have to pay to use the safe which just feels like you are being taken advantage off. Good drinks at the bar and breakfast was good. I would definitely not recommend the buffet for dinner. "
