Really accommodating host. We needed an early check in and this was sorted for us no problem. Clean room. Comfy bed. Good shower. Although no-one manned the reception, the host was easy to get hold of and made the stay easy as pie. Thank you very much

The rooms are beautifully decorated and the pub/hotel has a lovely oldie world feel to it. The surroundings were very peaceful. The service was also faultless - when we asked for a couple of things to be changed in the room it was done immediately. The Walnut Tree was excellent value for what we paid. The only reason I have not given five stars is that the room was a little chilly when we arrived - but that resolved, and one mattress in our twin room (ref to landlord – the one nearest the window) could have done with a topper or updating. But that is not to denigrate what is a really lovely hotel for a great price.

The hotel is modern, the room is properly laid out and spacious, beds are comfy, bathroom/shower area is awesome, love the towel warmer. The location is accessible and near to bus and train station, During night time, the areas around the hotel is well lit. and most importantly, Staffs are friendly and helpful.
