The staff were attentive and welcoming throughout our stay, and the facilities were exceptionally clean. "I was disappointed in this hotel and I’m confused about the high ratings. It’s certainly not 4 stars. The photos are misleading. There were no lamps in the room. No individual toiletries as indicated in the photos. Unstocked bar fridge. Dirty shag rug. Uncomfortable bed. Dated TV with no instructions for use (it’s possible to remove the dubbed audio from some channels but it’s difficult to figure out how to do this). The smoke detector or other device on the ceiling flashed bright red all night. Besides the shag rug, it was clean but the room had a very strong cleaning product scent."

"We really loved the hotel. The rooftop is really fab in the lovely weather, even without access to the pool off season. There’s plenty of seating to sit in the sunshine overlooking Florence. The free access to the gym and laundry self-service was a nice touch also. The staff were very helpful, allowing us to leave our bags in storage on checkout and use the rooftop for a few hours before we leave for our train. We would recommend this hotel to others and will be looking up other Social Hub hotels in Europe when travelling again."
