"So many houses advertise for sleeps 16 and do not have enough seats or dishes or bedrooms for that matter. Not this home they have so much silverware, dishes, pots and pans. Large table all 12 of us could sit together for meals The life jackets in the boat house were a bonus we didn’t need to bring back wet life jackets and dry them out when we got homePlenty of living spaces. Love the bar in the downstairs area and an extra refrigerator is always a bonus. We certainly made use of the paddle boat and the kayaks. The sandy area for the little ones was also ideal Made use of the s’mores kit at the fire pit that the host left us and the coffee bar was a nice touch. It was a little more than I normally would like to spend but you do get quite a bit for your money. And oooo the cove might have been one of the best features but make sure you have enough ppl in the boat if you are trying to get a pontoon thru the culvert. All in all had a fabulous time and would love to come back in the future. Thank you for sharing your home"

"We had a wonderful stay at this lake house! Everything was exactly as described, and the amenities met all of our expectations. The house had so many great spaces for our family to gather together, as well as plenty of quiet spots to relax and unwind.The kitchen isn't huge, but it was very manageable and had everything we needed to prepare meals for our group.The cove was absolutely perfect for our family, especially with our six grandchildren. They were able to paddle around in the kayaks without us worrying about heavy boat traffic, which made for a fun and relaxing experience. The high-dive diving board was a huge hit, and with the water measuring about 12 feet deep, we felt comfortable letting everyone enjoy it. We also caught lots of fish, which made the trip even more memorable!Our host, Michael, was fabulous. He was friendly, responsive, and quick to answer any questions or messages throughout our stay.We highly recommend this lake house to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway. We made wonderful memories and would love to go back!"

"We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our first trip to Lake Gaston. The host really has thought of everything and then some. We had everything we needed to cook and grill, a detailed list of restaurants and local attractions if we wanted to explore, and a huge variety of games and entertainment for staying and enjoying our time at the lake house or getting out on the lake. When we weren’t out kayaking we loved having the screened in porch with the most beautiful views. It was nice to be able to walk right out to the dock and kayak launch, too. We felt comfortable and welcomed, and appreciated the easy communication with Sharon. We would definitely vacation at this beautiful relaxing place again!"
