"The hotel and room were a little dated. The mini-fridge in the room was missing its only shelf and vertical beverage rack which limited cold storage. The room and bed were comfortable. Staff were very pleasant upon check-in. The pool was very busy for our first night so we stayed in but the hot tub was a welcome relaxer during our second evening after a long day of driving around the Lake."

"The staff were really helpful and answered any and all questions we had. I saw the reviews mentioning that the continental breakfast was amazing so we were expecting something great, but sadly were disappointed. It was very limited and the hot food items (scrambled eggs, sausage patties, potatoes) were cold. When we got there it was pretty packed with people, and there wasn’t a staff actively checking if anything needed to be restocked. Mostly everything we wanted was gone so we just left and bought breakfast somewhere else. Another thing we didn’t know was the access to the lake. You have to pay for a pass ($5 per person) to access a private beach. The private beach is super small and pretty disappointing, but there was access to water activities which we had to pay for, of course. Overall, the hotel room was a bit small but fine for the price, plus we were there to be outdoors so it didn’t matter as much. The staff were kind, and Heavenly Village was walkable so that was nice. I would probably look for another place to stay next time we come to Lake Tahoe."

"The overall hotel appeared to be well maintained and cared for. However, our room was small, poorly lit, had no place to sit besides the bed, had a dangerous step down into the bathroom, and had only an antiquated and extremely noisy wall heater to provide heat. It wheezed and squeaked every 20 minutes all night long. We had originally planned on staying two nights but decided to cut our holiday short because of the room."
