Don't know if it was the building, but getting mobile data signal in the room was difficult - make sure you know what the Wifi code is before going in! Ideally having it in the room somewhere would've been really useful!"
"You can’t hear noise from the bar which is great. Depending on which room you have (we’ve stayed twice) you can hear through the walls - we could hear cleaners in the morning. The manager kindly sent on lost property which we were grateful for. "

Centrally situated, the Georgian Hotel has a very good restaurant, although the breakfast included offer is not available for third party bookings, such as through Expedia. Still, the very good breakfasts on offer in the Restaurant are not very expensive. The staff are lovely and most helpful. Lancaster is a student city and the young people enhance the vibrant live music availability in the local hostelries of the city. Everything is in easy walking distance, making Lancaster an excellent choice for a short break for the not so young as well as those who also like to potter about the numerous shops and eateries in the commercial streets and arcades adorning the city centre. Of some note is the impressive Georgian architecture which adorns much of the City. Good choice all round."
