"Great breakfast, great pool"

"Stayed for one night , was ideal close to shopping and bars. The hotels bed itself was ok but the pillows were paper thin and the bed was on wheels so you could feel yourself moving whilst leaning against the headboard but apart from this we had a peasant stay"

"Grey and depressing decor, long bland corridors We were expecting a lovely authentic style not a Travelodge style. £22 each for breakfast is chargeable, which isn't shown as extra until after booking and is on top of over £500 for a 2 night stay Family room is just a double with pull out sofabed and not very roomy On site parking is £15 per night which isn't indicated before booking. Balcony closed off and unusable couldn't even open the door to it for some fresh air was not told until after booking that there would be work being undertaken but didn't expect scaffolding outside our window and not being able to use the balcony at all. Staff at reception were very dismissive when l complained. I would not stay here again. In fact if I could have afforded to take the financial loss l would have left and stayed somewhere else Luckily the one saving grace is that the hotel is clean."

"The breakfast was fantastic a lot of choice. The staff are very pleasant and helpful, especially as it was our first time visiting Bristol and we were wondering about the transport parking was fantastic and free which was a bonus. Our room was lovely very spacious. We will be back again."
