When I arrived back home I saw I was also billed on my card!!! Hotel was fine but definitely not worth >€1600 for 2 rooms x 1 night. So plan for a delay to use transit or a two-way taxi fare. The apartment was dirty. Mould in the closet. The beds were terrible (one like an air mattress & the other was hard as a board). The pillows were so used they were hard packed. The air freshener system is needed because a sewage smell came from one bathroom. "The pub is charming but very, very loud and our room opened out to the courtyard. The room was very hot because it faced the sun and the day was bright, so we needed to open the window and then had a lot of pub noise. The en suite bath was tiny but operational.
On the plus side, the staff were super friendly and helpful and despite a busy evening, they managed to seat us so we could eat.
The food as good too both for dinner and breakfast."

"This was our favorite stay in Ireland! We had such a relaxing time there, everyone was so nice and the breakfast was excellent. Fav was the giant claw foot tub in our room and then Luna the dog!"
