The Space:
Swan is a single-storey lodge with an open-plan living space . Appliances include an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge and TV with DVD player. The bedrooms include a double and a twin, serviced by a shower room. To the outside is a decking with furniture and off-road parking for one car. Shared outbuilding with communal facilities including a payphone, external shower rooms, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board, books, games, DVDs, and tourist information. Please note, there is no smoking. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Within 0.5 miles or less there is a shop and pub. Travel cot, WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are all included in the rent. Swan offers a wonderful break to Herefordshire. Free fishing is available at Pearl Lake for anyone staying in our lodges. Rules and passes to be collected from reception. We also have an onsite restaurant, bar, putting green, BMX trails, outdoor chess, zip wire, adventure play and golf for you to enjoy during your stay. Note: Though pets should be kept on leads, there are off-lead areas within the park and lovely walks around the area. Note: Bookings made for parties of workers can only be accepted with the prior consent of the Owner.

The pleasant village of Shobdon lies between the historic market towns of Leominster and Presteigne, and is surrounded by beautiful Herefordshire countryside, close to the Welsh borderlands. Mentioned in the Domesday Book, Shobdon has a village shop, an excellent pub/restaurant, and even a private airfield, providing a rare opportunity to learn how to fly helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. Leominster, dating back to the 7th century possesses some fine examples of architecture including the Priory Church, along with a wide selection of shops, cafes, antiques centres and pubs - an ideal place to spend an afternoon. Close by are many National Trust properties including Croft Castle and Berrington Hall, plus the Judge's Lodgings in Presteigne, Stokesay Castle, the renowned Shropshire Discovery Centre and the Acton Scott Historic Farm. Sample Herefordshire's cider or discover Hereford with its fascinating Mappa Mundi world map and the captivating chained library, home to a collection of rare and ancient books. The pretty medieval market town of Ludlow is also close by and makes a great day out, with more than 500 listed buildings and a magnificent castle.
