"We spent a wonderful week in Holt at this cottage. It was clean, comfortable and well-equipped and I loved the proximity to the town and to the Spout Hills pond where I could relax on a rug with a book! The parking space was a big plus too. One unavoidable downside to the cottage is the trek to the downstairs toilet via a very creaky staircase during the night! - part of the cottage's charm, but worth noting for light sleepers Thank you Vonnie."

"We stayed at Sandpipers in Baconsthorpe, Holt for three nights in July 2026 and had a lovely experience. The cottage was quaint, comfortable, clean, and very well equipped, with thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming from the moment we arrived.Its location is excellent — peaceful and rural, yet perfectly positioned for exploring the surrounding countryside and the beautiful Norfolk coast. We found it easy to reach nearby villages, walking routes, and coastal spots like Sheringham and Cromer.A charming property in a great setting."

"Very quaint cottage and well equipped and clean. Very central in Holt with lots of lovely independent shops. The stairs are quite steep so had to be careful as we are older! It was quite cold one evening so had to turn on the heating and it got warm really quickly which was lovely. Had a bit of a job to connect the wifi as old information given but was soon rectified with a call to David. Parking rather tight for our car but we managed ok. A glorious rose on the wall outside, (wish I knew its name. ) All in all a pleasant stay and wouldn't hesitate to go again."
Charming Cottage in Holt with Parking

"Enjoyed a nice half term break at Little Barn, Holt. Nicely located a short walk to the town centre, cosy little cottage, comfortable room (we used the second bedroom with bunk beds for storage/getting ready). Clean and tidy, nicely decorated throughout. We signed into Netflix via TV (no DVD player). Quick drive to Cley for the sea, we used it as a base to explore Holt and the surrounding towns and beaches. Safe parking. Sam was an attentive host, checking in on our arrival to make sure we were set. We did have an issue with the toilet but Sam was easy to contact and came out to sort the matter swiftly. There were a lack of oven trays and knives for preparing food but all other utensils we needed to get by were there. We booked through Expedia but they didn’t take payment at the time of booking so we were required to pay Sam direct but that was easy to sort and no pressure from Sam. Had a great time. Would book again."
