"Everything was good except for breakfast and check in timing. I understand standard checkin is around 4 PM but we get early checkin almost all the time (even with additional fee). But checkin was quite late for us in that regard"

"This hotel has so much potential but needs to do a few things to make it a great stay. Pros: it has some nice amenities, beautiful grounds, quiet location within walking distance to food, bars, nearby grocery store, and some nice waterfront walking. It has an onsite restaurant and bar. Parking is fairly secure. Cons: rooms are outdated, smell musty (some have cigarette smell), and walls are thin so you hear all the neighbors. Housecleaning was minimal and carpets and bathroom floors made bottoms of feet black from days, weeks… of non cleaning. Had to wear flip flops to prevent that. Amenities are very crowded and almost impossible to find pool chairs, space in pool, jacuzzi, fire pit. Families let their kids run all around and the rules of parental supervision posted are largely ignored. Suggestions would include using some of the space to build a kids pool, so adult couples can enjoy their own areas free of splashing shrieking, garbage, and saved pool chairs that sat empty nearly all day. Re training the cleaning staff to use a vacuum and mop bathroom floors, bathrooms in general, especially between guests. Update to all tile floors to eliminate moldy smells and repaint walls to get rid of cigarette smells in rooms (they sprayed air freshener when we complained). "

"The location is very beautiful. The property sits on the water and has great views. The rooms are good size. The food was just ok, the location of the restaurant and bar are again very pretty . We waited 40 minutes one night to get some bread and a salad. We kept getting other people’s orders that we had to redirect . Overall a nice place but we didn’t get housekeeping one day for no reason . The hotel is disorganized and under staffed . The servers were all very friendly but frazzled as well ."

"The website says pets are ok for a fee but on arrival we were told no pets. They did let us stay because of the website stating pets are ok. The rooms are very run down and in need of a serious refurbish. Very stinky carpet. Its basically a bare bone hotel that needs updating. "

"My family and I stayed for 3 nights and it was just fantastic. They provide continental breakfast each day, which we ate every morning and they did switch it up a bit and the staff who make the food are just so lovely and very friendly! The rooms were spacious and clean! They have a laundry room and 24 hour gym guests can use. They also have a pool, which we did use and it was just all around great & we would definitely come back to stay again! "
