"The hotel is a jewel in the heart of historic Castel Gandolfo. Our Superiore room was spacious, well equipped, and had a long balcony with a breath taking view of Lake Albano. The included breakfasts in the Bucci restaurant were wonderful. Equally delightful was the cheerful and helpful staff, especially the manager, Daniel. "Stayed here for one night due to late arrival of flight and as we were travelling with a 5 month old baby, wanted to be close to the airport. Host was very accommodating and friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. Timetable of the shuttle bus was sent prior which you take from Ciampino airport to Ciampino station which took around 10-15 minutes and the host meets you at the bus stop and it was then a short walk to the accommodation (no longer than 5 minutes) and helped with our bags too....

"Nice place to stay far away from Rome. Excellent host and had a kitchen with entirely everything to use. I loved the Italian coffee she made for me and she did not hesitate to make it for me many times. Snacks was always around and she was an excellent host. "

"This is a 2 star hotel at best, but not bad value if you're not expecting more, and suberbly convenient for trains into Rome. Local suburban area has plenty of amenities, and a couple of good restaurants at normal rather than 'tourist' prices"
