"Very comfortable if the rooms are warm a fan is supplied, breakfast was good standard buffet breakfast, food and beer was good too"

"As per main comments, some of the soft furnishings, particularly the sofas are past their best and require renewal. Both bathroom’s flooring could do with replacement and some remedial work to address blackened silicone sealant etc. is required. The lodge is still nice but starting to look slightly tired in places. Not a big task to get it to an excellent standard once again."

The breakfast was one of the best that I’ve ever had, and the service from Rick was impeccable. If you’re having doubts about booking, don’t! I shall certainly be back!"

"We really enjoyed our stay and the excellent facilities provided in the cottage. A short walk leads to the footpath to the Fountains Abbey estate and the 15 minute walk into Ripon is an easy stroll to shops and a good variety of restaurants."
