"Was greated by a nice young welcoming guy. He was friendly and attentive. Settled in micely in a good room, nice walk in shower. Shower couldve been a bit more powerful, but wasgood enough.
The bar was nice though felt a bit chilly and there was lingering musky smell... beer was kept in good conditions and a nice cider. Food was lovely and nicely cooked.
Breakfast was delicious with plenty of coffee and lots of orange juice.

"Great place to stay, only there for one night but will be back for longer next time. Room was lovely, bed was very comfortable and the large shower room was an added bonus. Located in the centre of Ripon so access to shops, bars and restaurants was easy and with the added bonus of on site parking. The food in the restaurant was excellent, a real taste of Italy. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming."
"A really lovely holiday cottage - we stopped off here on the way to drop our daughter at University and it was perfect. Two lovely bedrooms, very comfortable, great bathroom, kitchen and lounge - and an enclosed courtyard garden at the back. In lovely condition. Also very dog friendly. And Ripon itself was beautiful. "Our stay at the Old Deanery has been fantastic, we weren't sure what to expect having read up on the Old Deanery, as we usually stay at Inn's for hikers, with a standard breakfast. I'm so pleased that we chose a two night stay with breakfast included, as it was such a special experience. We were welcomed and made to feel at ease by friendly staff, who are all passionate about giving their guests a real experience, not just an over night stay.
