"We arrived earlier in the afternoon than we thought we would after a 200+ mile drive(we didnt pre book evening meal as not sure of journey time) but after asking for an evening meal this wasnt available!! The hotel wasn`t busy and indeed very few in the restaurant ! We ordered from the menu and obtained a sandwich and some chips!! seated in the drawing room on our laps!!

"Valentino’s is an absolute gem! Fabulous staff who were friendly and super courteous.
The rooms are thoughtfully furnished, very clean and with quality toiletries.
We ate here too, it was no problem to set up a table outside for us, the food was fantastic!
Breakfast too did not disappoint with amazing polite service and Italian food to die for!
Will definitely find an excuse to go back to Ripon so that I can stay here again!! "
