"We absolutely loved this property and its setting. So many places we visited were overly crowded & this location was perfectly situated in Tuscany between Siena, San Gimignano, and other destinations while providing a refuge from the crowds.
Castellina in Chianti is small, but it has several great restaurants to choose from that are within walking distance of the hotel.
Breakfast was absolutely lovely. Lots of options, with something for everyone.
We loved the historic nature of this property, and the staff has done a wonderful job of modernization while protecting its historical integrity. Would absolutely stay here again!"
"The hotel is a beautiful ancient building in a very pretty Tuscan hill top town. The views from the terrace where you can have breakfast/dinner are amazing. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are lots of restaurants in the beautiful old street the hotel fronts onto, so going out to eat was a breeze. The hotel has its own parking. Towels for the pool are provided. "

"This property has magical views and so much outdoor and patio space with beautiful gardens and shrubs. Three choices of outdoor dining spaces and each seats eight people. This is our second time here and we love it. Pool is wonderful with more fantastic views. Wonderful catering available with charming Serena. She made gluten free meals for our group. Thank you Annie for all your help!"
