"We received great instructions from Amina on how to access the room which were easy to follow. If arriving in the day, the ground floor is where a lovely flower shop is, then up a lift. There are then 9 easy steps down to where the room is located. This was our 4th stop on our trip and by far the best room. Although in the centre of everything, the room is super quiet, modern, with a lovely-sized bathroom & powerful shower and great WiFi. We would highly recommend and will definitely return...

"Isola Serena is truly a magical place. We stayed here with 15 friends to celebrate my husband Bryan’s 50th birthday, and it could not have been a more perfect setting for such a special occasion.The villa is majestic, incredibly spacious and beautifully appointed. Every couple had the privacy of their own bedroom and bathroom, while the generous shared spaces made it easy for everyone to gather and enjoy time together.The property itself is spectacular. The patio quickly became our favourite place to sit with a glass of wine and watch the most beautiful Tuscan sunsets, and the pool was the perfect place to spend a lazy afternoon.We also followed Serena’s recommendations and hired a local pizza maker one evening, which was such a fun and memorable experience. We also had a chef come to the villa twice, once for dinner and once for a beautiful lazy day brunch. Both meals were absolutely spectacular especially the lasagna at brunch.The location is ideal for exploring the best of Tuscany, while still feeling completely private and peaceful. Castellina di Chianti is a local gem.Serena and her entire team were wonderful, and a very special mention must go to Raffaella, the house manager, who was warm, helpful and incredibly attentive throughout our stay.Isola Serena gave us memories we will treasure forever. We would return without hesitation to enjoy this extraordinary villa again and discover even more of the hidden gems in this beautiful corner of Tuscany."

"Beautiful, clean hotel in the perfect location. The breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed a delicious dinner on the terrace overlooking the pool and lovely grounds. The view is fantastic. We briefly visited the spa. Don't miss this! Our room was spacious and they even provided toothbrush and shaving kits. We would definitely return! Our greeting upon arrival from the staff was welcoming and I had a fantastic Aperol sprits from the small bar. I wish we had planned a longer stay!"

"The Villa itself is beautiful and is a gorgeous setting. However, their road off the main road is not paved or lit. We didn't have our own car as we had a car service but we walked in Castellina each night for dinner, which is about a 25 minute walk. Coming back in pitch black wasn't the most fun! Also, they state their rooms have AC but they're glorified fans and do not cool down the room. Other than these two things, it's a very rustic and authentic Tuscan Villa and the owners are wonderful!"

"We've stayed on two previous occasions at La Bagnaie, but not at this particular villa. The reviews don't really do it justice. It was well furnished, fanatically located with views across Tuscany to San Gimignano, and with every necessary bit of information provided in advance. Jacky, the manager who we have met on two previous occasions, called in and along with the host, was her usual very welcoming self. Jacky even managed to engage Serena to cook for us one night, a delightful, very talented local chef who we would highly recommend, if you can get her! Not one of us could think of any way in which our way could be improved."
