7/10 Good! (13 reviews)
The owner/manager was amazing. Super friendly and welcoming. He took the time to chat and get to know me, even commenting on how he used to love about 5 miles up the road from me, even though we were 6 hours south of our hometown!
The room was almost completely renovated. Brand new lighting over the vanity, new floor (that was also super clean), new TV, new mini fridge (vintage styled), and the cutest little bistro table. Plenty of space and a huge bed.
I was on the back side of the property with a nice view of the hillside. The view looking out the front would have been amazing because the hotel faces a valley.
Would definitely stay again as it's on the quiet side of town away from the traffic of race weekend!

Loved The Gracie Suite!
We absolutely loved our stay at The Downtown Post in The Gracie Suite! From the moment we arrived, it felt comfortable, welcoming, and peaceful. The suite was beautifully done, very clean, and had so much charm and character.
It was one of those places where you immediately feel at home. Everything was thoughtfully put together, and we really appreciated the little details that made our stay extra enjoyable.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will definitely stay here again and won't hesitate to recommend "The Downtown Post" to family and friends. If you're considering booking it—do it! You won't be disappointed. ❤️
Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

"I’ve always had a great stay at the Carnegie. This stay was great until the end. I had to go back in to retrieve a receipt. The gentleman was helping another customer while I was waiting. A lady came to the counter. Never asked if I needed anything, barely acknowledged my presence. A gentleman stepped ..."
