"### Newport Island Resort Review We recently stayed at the Newport Island Resort and it was amazing! The entire hotel has been remodeled and it’s absolutely stunning. Our room felt like a beach on a tropical island, making it incredibly relaxing and luxurious. The renovations are top-notch and really well done. I do wish they had updated the indoor and outdoor pools, but the fantastic view and exceptional hospitality made up for it. When we arrived, there was a mix-up with our booking because of an issue with their system and Expedia. The staff handled it quickly, upgraded our room for the inconvenience, and were very apologetic. The food is incredible and reasonably priced. My husband had a facial at the spa and said it was the best he’s ever had. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, even when the check-in line got long. They were professional and composed the whole time. Don’t believe the bad reviews—some people will complain about anything. We were even allowed a late check-out, which was a nice touch. I’m planning on coming back every month because it’s that special. Highly recommended!"

"Loved this hotel. It is in the perfect location and you can walk to all the sites. It is also located right on the wharf and you have a breathtaking view of the harbor loaded with beautiful boats. Highly recommend this if you are visiting Newport!!! Would definitely return!!"
