"Lovely stay"

"Really lovely hotel with friendly staff, immaculate rooms, beautiful soft linens, fresh milk in the fridge and someone who has thought about the little things when designing the room - sockets in the right places, light switches on both side of the bed, long enough lead on the hairdryer, multiple mirrors. Our room was the 'standard, cozy', but did not feel cramped in any way and 'standard' in this case meant 'high standard'! Great location in the centre of Christchurch, easy to walk everwhere."

"All engagement with the host was good, slight delay on checking in but quickly resolved, seems to have been a system glitch. The property was perfect for us, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and everything we needed for a two night stay. We had a lovely walk along the flat coast road to Bournemouth and we visited the Chaplin bar and a couple of local restaurants all provided great food and drink. The property is very close to the town centre but it was lovely and quiet. The only slight downside which is not reflective of the property is the local area which does have some fly tipping which is very sad. It didn't ruin our stay but I thought it was important to mention. "

"Not a good stay. Arrived and waited to check in with some other customers at the reception, while 3 members of staff chatted bwtween them ignoring us for nearly 5mins. The eventually started to greet the guests. We stayed in a family room on thw first floor. Hotel is very tired and run down. Had rotting drain smell in areas. First room had hair and dirt on the floor of bathroom and towels with blood stains. Reported this to staff who reluctantly gave us new towels. Then found no shower gel in bathroom and dirty carpet in bedroom. Complained again after first night. Got offered a new room for seccond nite. Told to go havw breakfast and come back later to get new key and move room. Used pool and leisure changing rooms. Which were filthy. Got to hotel only to be spoken to with raised voice about failing to change room first thing this morning as we had gone out as they advised. After an arguement got new room. In new room there was no bin, no shower gel, musty smell, dirty carpet. Reported to reception who wrote it in housekeeping book. No action taken to resolve. Complained in morning as needed to shower. Waited 45 mins for someone to get shower gel. Will never stop here again!"

"Had to use caltons facilities only room was in east cliff and the parking there is shocking way over priced i payed over £30 for the night."

"Room was fine & clean with a comfortable bed. Lovely view of the sea but no handwash in the container in the bathroom. Pub quiz very noisy until 11pm & unable to sleep & then fire alarm went off at 12.20am ( False alarm)"
