Ideal apartment in the right place
Great little apartment in a excellent location. Booking team was really helpful as well. A bit noisy at times but I think that's more due to the central location

Lovely apartment
One night stay at Union bank apartments. Communication from owners was excellent from booking to leaving. Apartment was spotlessly clean, very spacious with a huge bed. Fully equipped kitchen, with tea, coffee etc. Our apartment had a shower which was amazing, also large. There is a lift to all floors, which you don't always get in older buildings. An added benefit for us was a security guard on Friday & Saturday night. Fairly central with lots of bars & restaurants nearby. The cavern club & Liverpool One only a 5 minute walk away. The only negative was the building work going on next to the apartments, but in all honesty, we never heard any noise Will definitely be going back & would recommend.

Excellent location. The property was difficult to get to due to road closures and property work. There were a few small issues with the couch being stained but comfortable, we couldn’t get to plug in the bath to stick so the bath was unusable, and the complimentary coffee and sugar were old, hard and stale. Overall the apartment was nice and did the job. Communication with admin was really good!

Its clean, was impressed with the conditions. Stove, dishwasher, washing machine, heaters, tv made available. The toilet was clean & theres a jacuzzi 😀. We asked for triple room & was given a king bed, awesome. Liverpool one shopping was just a walking distance. We will return in future when we visit Liverpool. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one😊🌹

The first room we had we had to leave due to a leaking tub and lack of hot water and heat. The next room was better but the building was very noisy! The staff were extremely nice!

Fantastic.
Apartment was fantastic. Expectations were most certainly exceeded. Laura the manager was great help and even though it’s not manned she was very quick to reply. Only negative was noise from the building works outside.

One night before the ferry to the Isle of Man
Excellent value through hotels.com. We were here for one night only. The apart-hotel is well positioned, close to the docks and the city centre. Parking might be an issue as there's a lot of redevelopment going on around. The unit's fine. Comfortable and well equiped (although the kitchen's a bit basic.)

Good apartment in central location.
The apartment was comfortable and well equipped for our 2 night stay. The cemtral location was great, as we could walk to many of the places we wanted to see and visit.

Staff are brilliant, excellent customer service! Apartment is very central and within walking distance to everywhere, excellent location! I do think a full length mirror is needed as only had the small mirror on the dressing table and with no window in the room there was not much light coming in! Highly recommend and will be staying again!

TERRIBLE AVOID
I initially booked a 2 bedroom apartment for me and my colleague to share on a business trip upon arrival we did not receive the code for the door or how we would get our room keys as this is unmanned. After a phone call we sorted this all out and went to our apartment. It was beyond filthy make-up marks all over the walls, egg shells on the kitchen floor, grimy furnishings, damaged tile in the ensuite bathroom, broken border on the kitchen units a d in my bedroom the cushions on my bed had questionable white crusty patches on it. We called the service line and was moved into separate apartments at no extra cost although cleaner still not great. In the evening a group of what I suspect to be underage teenagers ran the halls drinking, shouting, swearing screaming until all hours it was awful and I would never stay here again.

Dear Stacey, it is disappointing to read your feedback. You did not receive an email with any codes as we were not provided with your email address however you called upon arrival and was immediately given the access codes. You booked a 2 bedroom apartment with double and single bed. You called shortly after arrival & advised you were not happy with the apartment, you stated it was cleanliness issues however when discussed further it was maintenance issues such as a marked walls you were unhappy with. It was explained that this particular apartment was due for a re paint however due to high occupancy levels had not yet been complete. Nether the less we strive to find a solution to guests issues whilst in house which was quickly resolved when you were given a 1 bedroom apartment with whirlpool bath and a studio apartment with corner spa bath at no additional charge. You viewed both apartment before accepting and advised they were to your satisfaction. I note your feedback with regards to noise outside of one of the apartments. I have viewed CCTV which also detects sound and confirm this was a group of mature ladies simply chatting whilst leaving the apartment to smoke outside the building. This was last picked up at 10.30pm

Amazing apartments right in the heart of the city. We booked for a birthday weekend and the staff could not have been more helpful.Rooms are spotless,bright and airy. Every morning someone called to see if there was anything we needed. Although you are right in the centre, apartments are very quiet. Highly recommended,we will be back soon

Excellent Apartments - Great Service
We stayed here for my friends 21st as we were out in Liverpool. We were really pleased with the quality of the apartment as it was really reasonable priced compared to others we looked at. The decor was lovely and the service we received from Julie and Gemma was excellent. I told them prior to the booking it was for a 21st birthday and arranged for balloons, and they also decorated the apartment and we were even given free cupcakes! They couldn't do enough for us and we would definitely stay again!

Satisfactory but needs homey touches
This apartment was well kept - tidy, clean, and nicely set up with a kitchen, bathroom, sitting room that had a pullout couch and upstairs bedroom. The shower had nice hot water, the upstairs bedroom was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipt with the exceptions below. It is well located in downtown Liverpool, walking distance to Albert Dock, the Beatles Museum and Liverpool One shopping mall. There are lots of places to eat nearby - restaurants, pubs, and cafes. It can be a little noisy outside the suite, especially on weekend nights. The suite needed a few things to make it more homey and comfortable though. For example, a dishcloth and tea towel would have been very helpful in the kitchen. We didn't actually cook a meal there but I don't know how you could cook and wash dishes without a kitchen towel. As it was, we had to use a bathroom towel to wash up tea cups and plates that we used for breakfast and lunch. Also a toaster would be appreciated as well as clothes hangers (my son was in London for interviews and there was nothing with which to hang up his suit), pillows for the pull out sofabed (had to use one from the upstairs bedroom), and laundry soap for the clothes washer. We didn't want to buy a whole bottle for just one or two loads. Finally, the pull out sofa bed did not work properly - once the frame was unfolded from the couch, it did not rest evenly on the floor. Instead, the foot portion rocked forwards and backwards so that you really couldn't sleep on it. My son ended up just putting the mattress on the floor to sleep - not too comfortable as the mattress was not very thick. In future, I would hope to see these improvements before we would stay here again.

Soulless furniture showroom
Arriving in the evening I was sent an SMS with the door code. When into the room the bed was still stripped. Phoned 'reception' and sent by SMS to another room with another door code. Large apartment that matches the photos BUT it was like being in a soulless furniture showroom, with uncomfortable sofa and bed. No atmosphere. The only reading matter was the list of how much each thing cost if you broke it! Might be nice in the summer but in early April it was freezing inside and one tiny heater in the bedroom for the entire place. I kept my coat on whilst I was not in bed. Good job it was for one night only. No facilities - no soap, coffee, tea, sugar or anything. Well there WAS toilet paper, tap water, and one towel set so not totally unsupplied I suppose. I stay in hotels 15 weeks a year and this was the place I would least want to return to from all the places in the last 4 years - bottom of the 200+ hotel list. The view outside was to the derelict building opposite. No shops close by, but a couple of so-so restaurants so I was able to cope. Escaped early the next morning to get warm in a café on my way to my next (nice) hotel.

No hot water / workable system
The room was nice but the windows wouldn't stay open, the doors don't stay open unless you wedge them open, there was no hot water the first morning, after trying to sort the issue for most of the morning we had to give up on the hot water and half fill the bath using the kettle!! This took up half of my boyfriends birthday plans which we had planned for the Saturday morning we spent it trying to fill the bath instead. Such a shame as it would have been lovely otherwise.

Good set of instructions from The lady that owned the property Appartment a nice size but no bedding or towels for the 3rd person no bedding for pull out bed. The sofa bed is not comfy at all such a thin mattress & not a great nights sleep both nights Oven was filthy we went to cook the tray in oven hadn't been washed food & hair over it

worst place!
worst stay!!! we hasn't received any confirmation from the hotel regarding our stay, when we arrived at apartment, we was locked out for 20 minutes as no one would let us in, our apartment was ok - oven was still dirty knives had crumbs on from previous guests and so did the oven, no heating or hot water, manager didn't seem too bothered either, said he would move us to another apartment, no hot water or heating in that one either, windows were open everywhere in the apartment that you couldn't close, in our bedroom there was no blinds/curtains up against the window everyone in the bar across the street could see in. Will never recommend this place, waste of time and money, the managers also need to get some customer service.

Apartments are in a great location. Lovely apartments inside but the walls could do with a lick of paint, they were marked all over the apartment. The only niggle we had was the shower as we didn't realise we had to turn the 'boost' button on to get hot water any time after the morning had passed. The information was on the inside of a cupboard door in the kitchen so trying to have a shower before our night out was a nightmare as it was freezing cold. We found everything else to be great and so easy to get around from where they were located.

The WORST experience EVER!
We checked in the place rather late around 7pm in the evening. While we tried to key in the combination code to get the room key at the front door, we found that the lock may have been compromised and the key is available effortlessly. We entered the room. The light was on, the bed was warm and there're unfinished meal on the dining table. The bath towel was used and dumped next to the bath. We were told that the room was 'double booked' and being urged to leave the room and return the key to the lock immediately. After making a few calls, we were checked in to a entirely different hotel. As a match day evening, only the crappy and unreasonably priced hotels left and the one we were asked to move to is no different, even though the cost is fully reimbursed by Union Banks Apartments. I heard several apologies over the phone but certainly a wonderful night in Liverpool is nothing but ruined.

Great location for Echo arena and night life of Liverpool. shame the hot water wasn't switched on for when we arrived only noticed this the next morning (cold shower) as it has a storage tank for the hot water and takes some time to fill.

I booked this apartment for myself and a friend as we were meeting up with others for a night out. I booked a room with a sofa bed and a kingsize as my friend had recently had an operation so needed a bed to herself. When we got into the apartment there was only a double bed, I located the manager who was brilliant and reassured us that she would sort something out, which, about half an hour later she did. Her and the cleaning lady made up the sofa bed for us and even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. These two ladies couldn't have been more accommodating. I highly recommend these apartments, they're in an excellent position, they're very clean and really well furnished. Soap, shower gel etc are not provided and better lighting is needed above the mirrors as it's difficult to see well enough to apply makeup. Apart from these two very minor issues it was pretty much perfect. Would highly recommend.

Was very difficult to check in as I received no codes for the doors. Had to ring the company who were reluctant to give me the code at first as they didn't think I had paid, then when they eventually gave me the code for the key safe for the room the code was incorrect and the staff member on the phone didn't believe I was entering the code correctly. We eventually had to guess the code to open the key safe. Apartment was very poorly equipped and television didn't work. Was very clean and was in a good location just needs a few tweaks.

Great apartment, but service setup horrible.
The apartment I ended up in was great, but I feel I have to share why the overall experience was a disaster. I travel for a living and I'm NOT a very fussy person, but this is how things went down. There's no check-in or service at all when you rent a Union Bank Apartment, the door details come in an email. This is all fine, I'm a grown up and don't need pampering. But once I found my apartment and walked in, I quickly noticed the power and heat was off. Since I live overseas I don't have wifi on my phone, but there's NO phone number to call if you need service, so I had to turn on my international roaming and eventually find a phone number on the website. I called, but no answer. After 30 minutes in the dark and cold I get a text message back asking what the problem was. Eventually I was told to check in to another apartment down the hall and things were fine after the first snafu. I would have been ok after that, things don't always run 100% smoothly and I accept that. But the next night I came home at 1am after a long day of work and find myself locked out of the apartment building (there's only a code to get in). Back to calling the number no one answers again and waiting, and waiting and waiting. After 45 minutes outside in the cold I get a message back telling me to try another code. So yeah, service was good once I got hold of someone, but the system for how to get hold of someone is seriously lacking.
